In the midst of Sony's recent downfall, and the Bungie layoffs from some time ago, I'm hoping Bungie and this game can get back on their feet and deliver. I want the game to thrive in some form, and that might make me sound like a glazer, but it's how I see it. (4/?)

I do think Marathon does need to look at other extraction shooters for ideas and such. (Bungie plus give us a safe pocket ffs) The game needs a massive shakeup overall. Stuff that can shake up the matches and such, and lowkey, some of the loot rooms need to be BUFFED. (3/?)

With the new game director, and the massive shift for Marathon's vision, I think something has got to be done to solidify this game's place in the extraction shooter genre. I'm hoping the PvE mode for Season 3 will play great and give me an option to dial back from the normal gameplay loop. (2/?)

I need to get this off my chest. I have about 1k hours into Marathon, which, I know does make it sound like I don't touch grass, but BEYOND THAT... We're two seasons into this game's lifespan, and lowkey, I think Season 2 was kinda rough for the game as a whole. (1/?)

Sony's attempt to scrap PHYSINT is just so... baffling. What Sony just did is the same shit Konami did to Kojima back in 2015 during development if MGSV, which is really fucking ironic thinking about it. Hoping Kojima is able to bounce back from being backstabbed by Sony.

I don't care if the ideas were in development for a long time. I only give a shit about those ideas getting executed properly, and that 2 week schedule is not helping things for it. I just want more thought put into Act 2's story honestly. Make it ENGAGING.

I think the game's story is just a massive mess of questionable decisions, plot holes, and just issues with character development as a whole. I genuinely think Studio Kingdom and Devsisters as a whole need to slow the fuck down on Act 2's story as a whole and just stop rushing things.

Yeeeaaahhhhh... Beast-Yeast Episode 15 kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. After that, I've just stopped paying attention to CRK's story, even willing to spoil myself on certain points for Act 2. CRK's writers are really just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. Not a good thing tbh.
