It's my birthday! I'm 25 now, wild to think about. Made something simple since I've been pretty busy today. ✏️✨️

Drawing of my sona, Lucas, with an orange and blue party hat in front of a light blue and white background with sketched white stars and hearts. Lucas is smiling and has somewhat visible blush.

I don't feel I'm doing them justice yet, but perhaps with more practice I can do it. It's been very fun regardless!

Some studies I did before and forgot to post, may as well share them here ✏️✨️

Sketches of Qifrey, one where I tried to replicate the color and shading style of the anime. The other is where I tried to replicate the color and shading style of the manga. There are also doodles of Brushbuddy in the empty space.

Sketches of Olruggio, one where I tried to replicate the color and shading style of the anime. The other is where I tried to replicate the color and shading style of the manga. There are also doodles of Brushbuddy in the empty space.

Orufrey sketches bc I recently read and watched all of Witch Hat Atelier and really love it. ✏️✨️

3 drawings in one page, and an additional Brushbuddy in the top right corner. The top image is of Qifrey and Olruggio looking at each other, with Olruggio looking at Qifrey from over his shoulder while Qifrey looks at Olruggio while facing away from him. The 2nd drawing in the bottom left is Qifrey blushing, pink sparkles and all, presumably because of Olruggio. The 3rd drawing in the bottom right is of Qifrey looking up at Olruggio while holding hands. You can't see all of Qifrey's face, but Olruggio is looking at him kindly.

They heard you like anime... Ruh roh ✏️✨️ #oc

Marinus and Lucas looking at the viewer, Marinus holding his glasses appearing indifferent and Lucas looking rather excited.

Marinus and Lucas looking at the viewer in their more demonic forms. They also have more devious expressions.

Happy Pride Month 2026!!! We're still here and queer in spite of everything going down. (Also I realize you can't tell, but my intention is that Marinus is wearing a skirt here.) ✏️✨️ #pridemonth #oc

Artwork of Lucas and Marinus holding their respective Pride flags, bisexual for Lucas, pansexual for Marinus, with Marinus holding Lucas by the waist and Lucas giving Marinus bunny ears via a peace sign above his head. There is rainbow confetti in the background. Lucas is wearing a tank top with the "Pride Month to Demon" meme design. Marinus is wearing a crop top with the intersex flag pattern. Lucas is also wearing pants with the genderfluid colors and two bracelets with the demisexual and demirpmantic colors. White text reads "Happy Pride!!! 2026" in the bottom right corner.

These go under bc they have (censored) nonsexual nudity lol

Reference sheet of Marinus's Human Form. The text at the bottom reads, "Height: Flexible, usually between 5 foot 7 inches to 5 foot 9 inches or 3 to 5 inches taller than Lucas (whose size also varies)." In parentheses under that line it reads, "can be slightly smaller or larger depending on environment, mood, activity, amount of magic, or hydration." Under that line the text reads, "Powers are weaker since most magical energy is being used to maintain this form. Magic replenished with sleep. Magic reduces need for water, but does not eliminate it. Please hydrate as needed. Nothing suspicious here, just a guy with pointy ears..."

Reference sheet for Marinus's Land Form. The text at the bottom reads, "Requires consistent hydration or exposure to water, otherwise relatively fine on land compared to Mer Form. Skin is rougher, especially near scales. Body temp runs cooler than humans. Rail is prehensile."

Marinus references yippee! Finally finished them after working on them for like a week and not being able to finish it until last night bc for another week I had no PC. Anyway here he is! In a higher quality collection of refs! ✏️✨️ #oc

Reference sheet of Marinus's outfit in human form. At the bottom is a diagram of adding a graphic t-shirt, lime green hoodie, and purple jacket equals 1 Marinus. The text next to the white shirt that says "Graphic T-Shirt" reads "can be replaced with any design that's funny."

Reference sheet for Marinus's Mer Form. The text at the bottom by his tail reads, "Height: can be HUGE if he has space, otherwise defaults to around 40 feet, can be smaller too I'd he needs. Slippery eel if a mer, mostly on his tail. Tail not prehensile, more for swimming."

Reference of Marinus's head, teeth, eyes, and hands in different forms. There is also a ref for his ear fins, tongue, and scales.

He is my awkward, cringe, nerdy fish man, and I love him dearly. He reminds me of myself, and he loves my sona. Is this some weird, complicated form of self love? Maybe.

A black and white concept drawing of Marinus's true form in the dark underwater environment.

More sketches of Marinus and Lucas exploring their dynamic and some more details on Marinus's forms. There is also a concept sketch of Marinus's "Mer-Cave," a pun on man cave.

New OC time. Meet Marinus, Son of The Leviathan. I'm still fleshing him out but I figured I'd share him. ✏️✨️ #oc #ocsky

References of Marinus. The top texts reads "Marinus Son of The Leviathan." There are three sketches of Marinus. The first is labeled "Casual (Human-Form)," and he is dressed in a green hoodie, purple jacket, blue pants, and orange shoes. The second sketch is a censored nude labeled "Human-Form." The third is labeled "Partly transformed/land-friendly form," where he has a snake-like tail, webbed and clawed hands and feet, fins, gills both on his neck and midsection, and scales.

More sketches of Marinus. The labels read "Aquatic (true?) form" and "Back fin view" for the sketch of his mer-form and a sketch of his back respectively. There are additional sketches showcasing different attributes such as his gills, eyes, and teeth.

Sketches of Marinus and Lucas telling the story of how they met when Lucas fell into Hell's oceans, Marinus performed reverse CPR, and they bonded over their shared interests ever since. There is also a detail about them going to college together and over the course of 4+ years their family lives got worse. Lucas's parents went crazy, and Marinus lost his dad and inherited the Leviathan title.

More sketches of Lucas and Marinus showing them bonding, struggling with their feelings for each other, and confessing. There is also a sketch of them holding hands and another of them cuddling in their true forms, sizes not accurate for the sake of a silly sketch. There js also a sketch of myself asking "What tf am I making? No regrets."

Old versions (2022 and 2018-19 respectively)

2022 rendition of the art of 707 eating chips. Instead of having actual text in the speech bubble, there is simply the yellow outline of a heart.

2018-19 rendition of the previous image. This time there are no speech bubbles.

2026 redraw of some old 707 fanart bc he is best boy ✏️✨️ #mysticmessenger

Artwork of 707 from Mystic Messenger relaxing and eating Honey Buddha Chips. He has a chip in his hand and another in his mouth. A speech bubble says "Want a taste?" followed by another, smaller speech bubble with a red heart.

Every time I listen to the Violence soundtrack for Ultrakill I get chills bc that layer has such thematic significance and is so entwined with V1 and everything about it is so interesting AUGHHH I fear I'll never stop thinking about it

In other news y'all ever just decide to take another crack at a fic you started 2 years ago that will never be released to the public bc it's pure self indulgence and meant for no one else? Anyway 2024 Lucas was cooking something. Good ingredients, messy execution.

Actually I find it really funny that every time I play the Casual Story naturally I end up on Jaehee's route. She was my first route and I loved her ever since what can I say? Love wins <3

Anyway I love my wife Jaehee Kang and I will relive the moment we went off to live our sapphic dream of starting a coffee shop together and get married and be in love and I can kiss her on Christmas and- [a comically large cane hooks me off stage]

Replaying Mystic Messenger bc why not, and MAN, replaying Jaehee's route really reminds me how much I HATE Jumin. I played his route last out of the main 5 back in 2018 bc I really did not like him. Idc how gap moe he is, he's a bottom tier man and I hate him on principle for being part of the 1%.

I hope when people hear me say "chat" irl they know I'm referring to the imaginary livestream chat that watches me and not the damn ai. I'm so sick of words, phrases, and emojis being taken by the ai industry.

Okay so I liked Trigun Stampede/Stargaze just fine in their own right, but I have a broad critique. Why did Stargaze not have the balls to hurt me the way the manga did? There were so many moments I felt cheated out of some of my favorite plot points. It's fine in isolation but I like the manga more

Finally made new refs of my oc of over 10 years. Her name is Daphne, also known as The Huntress, and she is my morally questionable tree monster woman. One day I'll draw a ref of her lesbian situationship, I swear. ✏️✨️ #oc #OCSky

Two side by side images of Daphne. On the left she is in her hunting outfit. On the right she is in her civilian clothes, which is based on 17th century men's fashion.

Two side by side images of Daphne. On the left she is in a more casual version of her hunting clothes with no cloak, dagger, or quiver. On the right she is in her underclothes.

A front a back view of Daphne's monster form. She looks like a woman made out of birch bark with hair made of leaves.

Various facial expressions of Daphne in both her human and monster forms and with color variations for her hair that changes like leaves during different seasons.

Sketches of Tenna. 1st one he's sick with a green tint to his face and a thermometer in his mouth. Text next to him reads "sick for a whole week." The 2nd he looks frustrated or annoyed as he looks at a cell phone with a label saying "100+ emails." The 3rd he's standing there like a dork holding a handheld shopping basket with a sweater and slippers on. He also has a fat dumpy. Text reads "badly prepping for winter storm (while sick)." 4th and last has him sitting at his desk with a drawing tablet in hand looking frustrated. Text reads "-10 billion motivation for art/writing."

I find it very amusing in hindsight how I went from hyperfixating on the bloody robot shooter game to hyperfixating on a turn based fantasy rpg with a significantly lighter atmosphere lol. I am nothing if not inconsistent.
