I do not make enough to cover my rent let alone everything but I think I can keep up appearances for a few months before they’ll see through my act so I have some time to try and figure this out. I’m absolutely terrified and emotionally devastated. Some more in the alt text but Baugh not ok rn

I’m hoping I can get my mom to pay for my rent after May to last through December but my rent is covered at least until May for now so I have some time to prepare. I can keep up appearances hopefully until the holidays— because I won’t be going back to their house ever again if I can help it minus at least once so I can get some of my stuff, and I know when I tell them I won’t be coming over for Christmas that’ll likely be the end of it. They literally said if I didn’t like their terms I’d need to figure out financial aid in January. They KNOW I can’t afford everything on my own and they’re using that against me. I don’t want to have to constantly cater to their every whim and receive no acknowledgement or apologies for how they’ve hurt me and continue to do so and be blamed and scrutinized for stuff I literally can’t control like my disabilities. Like just as an example they fucking brought up me asking for help getting water as a point against me AFTER I LITERALLY HAD FUCKING SURGERY?? GOD FORBID I NEED HELP BECAUSE IM IN PAIN. I had to take care of myself the whole fucking time I was there and when they offered to help they ended up not even doing it (my dad offered to help me up the stairs and then he never did) I strained my body so much because I had no one else to help me and cried every single day I just wanted my mama and papa I’m so fucking done. I understand why my sister didn’t feel supported.

I do dread my parents eventually finding out either via insurance bullshit (that’s how they found out I started T) or because I’ll probably have to mention it since I can’t pick up more than 20 pounds for 6 weeks and I’ll be going to their home in less than 2 after,, but yk. Whatevs.

Uses this to ramble like I usually do,, anyways yeah I don’t know who remembers from the close friends circle on X but this has been a very big source of conflict between my parents and I (especially my mom) for years and they’ve said utterly repulsive things about the idea of me getting this surgery done “so young” and talking about how they need to grieve that they’ll never have grandkids and that they’d never support me mutilating my body and blah blah blah. Truthfully I know I’ll mention it eventually- whether that be because I have to, because I genuinely forget and slip up, or because a part of me lowkey does wanna rub it in their faces but hopefully it won’t cause major chaos. My biggest fear right now is them finding out before the surgery and threatening to withdraw support for me like they did when they figured out I had joined TST. I genuinely don’t know if they’d do that but I don’t trust them after that. I don’t think they’d do anything after it’s already done, but yeah. I don’t trust them lol
