I just remembered that Doctor Who Series 9 started this month back 2015. I still believe to this day that The Magician's Apprentice is a strong opener.

This from yesterday when a Squall Line swept throught my county. Produced 70mph winds, even a Spun Up Tornado in the Northwest to south of the county.

Just Doctor Who moments in any media like this just make me love the franchies. A Show that doesn't take itself too seriously and get funny light-hearted scenes

I’m gonna say this. And been informed by a blue doggo. Weather wise things are about to go down in the Midwest. Wednesday and Thursday are the days. I’m talking about getting smacked by Severe Storm Outbreak

Despite how long I’ve been writing I still can’t stick with a single project lol

Sleepy 🔜 AQF @sleepytechnokid.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

It's mostly layout choice. The covers I make takes the style from Big Finish right down to the layout. 2023 is when they use the new logo. And I despise it. The stacked logo is ugly as hell and the text layout is so bland. The layouts stands out alot which makes the covers a bit jarring to look 2/2

Sleepy 🔜 AQF @sleepytechnokid.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

I'm gonna say this in case like a Doctor Who fan comes cross my cover arts and wonder why I still used the 2018 logo. 1/2

I watched a couple of episodes of Stranger Things: Tales From '85. Much as I want to enjoy it, as I am a Stranger Things Fan. But the writing is abysmal. I like the concepts, but the Dialogs... omg, what the fuck? And don't get me started with hand-holding storytelling.

Sleepy 🔜 AQF @sleepytechnokid.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

I do like the use of cause and effect in this volumn and with a meanwhile, elsewhere type of story it. Helter Skelter is light hearted and fun tale especially if you love Groundhog Day. And the Character study moments with the companions through out adds more greatness to it.

I enjoy the concept of Making a Wish kills you literally. The Asteri, an alien species that feeds on hosts by granting their deepest wish. It’s like the Kantrofarri, but with Wishes. And they feel like Cosmic Entities by their appearance and their abilities.

Sleepy 🔜 AQF @sleepytechnokid.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

It’s been long time I listened to a Big Finish release and this reminds me the magic of it. The pacing kept it steady throughout and gets right to the point, especially with Fields of Miracles / Land of Fools. I do like the idea that they are widening the narratives and make them more loose.

110

Sleepy 🔜 AQF @sleepytechnokid.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

And quite the treat this is. I slowly develop the admiration for the Fifth Doctor Era. With my favorite being Serpent in the Silver Mask. This Volume contains three, two-parts episodes. Field of Miracles, Helter Skelter, and Land of Fools. Two stories which one of them is a lose over-arc.

Sleepy 🔜 AQF @sleepytechnokid.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

I’m just gonna be going off a thread tangent with this one Doctor Who: The Fifth Doctor Adventures - Helter Skelter. I’m actually glad that I picked this up. I have been eyeing on this release since they announced it. When it came out yesterday. I decided that I should treat myself.
