I'm so tired of seeing people tracing slop and pass it off as their own. Art is not just visual, you have to put an idea, a feeling, your soul into it. Art is a journey that starts at the sketch, and if you skip it, then you are not an artist. Draw, fail, improve, and enjoy the journey!

Sleepy_Mimic @sleepykodiak.bsky.social · 03/04/2026

I mean to post more often but it tends to end up in batches every time. Though for the most part I am working on animation projects that may or may not be too ambition for one person to undertake but we roll with it... hope you guys enjoy either way!

040

Sleepy_Mimic @sleepykodiak.bsky.social · 03/04/2026

Using concepts I learned from this initial attempt I went on to create this, which I'm really proud of! This is going to be apart of a larger animation I am doing but either way I need to loop it a little better and then render it!

Sleepy_Mimic @sleepykodiak.bsky.social · 03/04/2026

"first" fire animation study, it's flawed but I'm not afraid to show me failing forwards. despite how it looks I learned a lot about how to animate flames just from this animation alone. #animation #animationstudy #flame
