you seem like you're asking in good faith so i'll take you seriously here.
(that said, i don't have a ton of energy at the moment, so forgive me for getting a bit snippy in my short response.)
i don't know about you, but someone producing a "hobby project" where they don't participate in the hobby indicates a massive lack of care. LLM-written projects go incomplete, unmaintained, and break hard and fast. i can't trust them to work long-term, or to have vulnerabilities fixed when they're found, or to even function at all. humans produce broken code too, but humans who produce their own code can read their own codebase and fix it.
that aside - the fact that i view code as an art should be telling enough as to my problem with vibe-coded software. there's no passion, there's no heart, there's no deep-seated rage fueling this project... and if there's no passion, why bother making it in the first place? why should i bother using it?

y'know fluxer has a policy against LLM-generated code but it also includes AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, and .claude in its .gitignore file so i'm not really sure what to think

screenshot of the .gitignore file on fluxer's github repo. to slightly oversimplify, this file determines which files are NOT pushed to the repo when code is pushed from the user's local machine.

notably, AGENTS.md (which tells LLM coding agents how to act), CLAUDE.md (similar but specialized to claude), and .claude (directory containing claude-related files, to my knowledge) are included in .gitignore, which means that anybody pushing new code to the repo automatically has direct evidence of LLM usage scrubbed from their patch.
