Today someone at work got annoyed when I said I don't use AI because (about 10 reasons) and they got snarly and said they had to use it because it was taking their job. Like ok, i just said it was intellectual theft and a job destroyer. I don't have to use it so I don't, neither do you.

Libraries are information and knowledge gateways and hubs. People sometimes forget this. Even in the smallest village and town libraries are critical knowledge Hotspot as well as a community resource center. Why do you think capitalism can't take them down?

You know libraries have done a fine job getting the word out about libraries having all sorts of items to use beyond books when a coworker tells you the library might have a sewing machine. Also, spread the word if your library has things beyond books, and also about Inter-library loans.
