the way is, is to create a camera object in blender and do a render from it, but it's important to not move it at all while you're working on it. so i rendered this and this, without lighting.

okay so i found out about the drawover method of applying textures to UVs. so, first. it's very convoluted and not comfortable for me to do Texture Paint in blender this way. because it's uhhh. really not comfortable, let's say. maybe there's a better method of overdrawing in 3d.

The Chatham Islands answer "The big one, 45 minutes ago."

South Islanders are sorted by holiday-home word: Airbnb (Queenstown), bach, "bach but sunnier" (Nelson) or crib. Bach leads to Christchurch, split by opening line: "What school did you go to?" (Fendalton) or "Still munted, eh?" (the rest), plus the West Coast ("Wet enough for ya?").

Crib asks what's for tea: "a wee cheese roll" is Southland; "shark and taties" (local fish and chups for oldies) leads to "What's a scarfie?", where Dunedin says "A student" and Central Otago says "Dunno. Central."

North Islanders answer "Huh?" and are sorted by how far away Auckland is.
