This band may only suffer from too little ego - they switch instruments through out to allow others to shine. Luther on guitar, bass, organ and Cody on drums, electric washboard, etc

Show #37 of ‘26: North Mississippi Allstars at Fairfield Theatre’s Warehouse. Every time I see Luther Dickinson I wonder if he isn’t the best guitarist no one is talking about. So versatile & varies. Cody an amazing musician as well. Great Sunday night show.

Show #36 of ‘26: Geese at Forrest Hills. Really enjoyed, Cameron Winter has some of ‘it’ and his voice holds up. Loved the flow of the show. The set closer of Long Island City Here I Come and encore of Trinidad were awesome. Nice to be outside in NYC in October!

Show #35 of ‘26: Parlor Greens - 9/17, FTC Stage One in Fairfield, CT. Go see this band, especially if you like The Meters, LaMP, older Soulive. They are like Grant Green if he occasionally dipped into the guitar rift of Nirvana. Really good, guitarist Jimmy James (guitarist) has an awesome vibe.

Show #34 of ‘26: Jetty Jam in Fairfield, CT on the beach. Paired w/paddle board competition, 4 bands (Ellis Island, Honeyspot, Pangea, Lackluster Brother). A great day yesterday though my feet are seriously burned. Pangea (video) was my favorite of the bands. We raised a lot of $ for a great org.

Hit on my ticket request for TAB/Billy for Friday night. Two floor tickets, sadly excited the cost wasn’t too bad.

Sheryl, still a babe at 64 and great music chops. Loved seeing her switch from guitar to bass. Not often the opening act closes with 4 songs that were all top 20 hits.

Show #33 of ‘26: Tedeschi Trucks Band (with Sheryl Crow opener) at Bridgeport Amphitheater. TTB joined the 5X club for me tonight. Always deliver, Susan is an angel and Derek ain’t bad either. Sound was better at the venue than I’m used to there.

Show #32 of ‘26: Anniversary party in Fairfield, CT - Hitch and the Giddyup, really good and exactly in the wheelhouse of a Phish<Billy Strings>70s Rock lover. Van Morrison melts me…

Listening to one of my favorites from the queen. What a wonderful person and hopefully the memory of her will continue the energy and goodwill she brought to the world. #RIPDolly

Show(s) #31 of ‘26: Black Rock Porchfest in Bridgeport, CT. This has grown so much and now with over 100 bands it’s just an awesome day, so well organized, and first time I didn’t sweat profusely. Great vibe all around. porchfest.net/blackrock/sc...

Show #30 of ‘26: King Gizzard at Forrest Hills. Love this venue, coming from CT I have to drive but I was home in 1 hr & 10 min. Show was great, I even liked the ravey section of a couple songs. Max Weinberg, 75 yrs young, provided drum backbone for Hot Water

Show #29 of ‘26: Dangermuffin at Park City Music Hall in Bridgeport, CT. Really enjoyed more than expected. Went for the opener Tracy Jo who was awesome but Dangermuffin is fun, vocals similar to a better Anders Osbourne (or Samples like) with some solid shredding and brief but heavy jams.

Show #28 of ‘26: Billy Strings or BMFS as the kids call him. Great show sounded great as expected - put a nice spin on Gild the Lily and loved some of oldies he picked. Hadn’t been to Hartford PeoplesBank Arena since it was the XL center, definitely nicer with the new seats and concourse area

Show #27 of ‘26: Phish at MSG for 1995: killed it, Trey on drum kit (5-6x) elicited some awesome jams - Timber, Halleys, Caspian, Drowned, & It’s Ice. Free was bananas energy. #phish

I thought I might clear a bunch last night but did get La Grange too. A Train and Amazing Grace were candidates last night. It’s off how it says I have no The Curtain when that’s exactly what they played at Mohegan (7/24/24) but my stats I got two The Curtain With then.

Show #26 of 2026: Phish at MSG: 1993 - wow, absolutely loved. The Gin, Gumbo, La Grange, and this Chalk Dust (video attached) were awesome. Guelah Papyrus was my first fav #phish song and at my first show in ‘96. Hit the spot, sad not going tomorrow but see you in 1995!

2nd show in a row where I got 3 new songs - Daniel Saw the Stone, Big Ball Jam (this was the best version I’ve heard!), and La Grange. Band is so tapped in with a theme that only helps provide some guardrails but amplifies the energy they are bringing. #phish

Show #24: Lettuce at New England Brewing Company (NEBCO), Branford, CT - awesome setting on the water, good beers, good sound. Band sounded tight. It’s been 8+ yrs since I caught them. Lobster roll was only disappointing aspect. ‘Summer summer time..’

The final entry, 7/27/25: Reprisefest. This is #Phish where the gag matches up w/the music perfectly. I’s not a top 6 best show of all time (phish.net) but it’s awesome. Roses is where things got special from jamming but great throughout. Great list @the-megan-dance.bsky.social @rjbee.bsky.social

3 Martini Lunch? Nah, 3 hot sauces is more my speed. I don’t really view Sriracha as a hot sauce but the Sweet Baby Rays is lacking. Went a little heavy today - the Last Dab is no joke.

Trey’s voice was as good as I’ve heard it, very strong. This was a really impressive and cool voice “jam” at end of YEM last song in the encore #phish
