Migraine hitting as it was threatening all day and I'm loopy I just want to say I love playing with Unity so much and making VRC assets so much it's like ideal soothing work flow for me I wish more people had VR so they could enjoy the cool hypnotic toys I'm making. I wish more people did hypnosis

So I figured out a way to make a screenspace spiral effect work on Quest/standalone but I'm really hesitant to add that to an asset because it literally fills everyone's screen who is looking in that direction, potentially regardless of distance. It might be irresponsible to distribute that?

Please break the idea in your head that you think you know what hypnosis is, how it is performed, and the tropes it follows. Think of it like a mutual hallucinogen, or an interview, or touching the Other, or a thousand other things that it can be if you pursue it.

Hypnosis is real and you should do it not for any reason except to do it. It is a way of focusing on another person that is unlike anything else. It can be a true exchange of power at the deepest level. You can do real, actual magic. Trance is worthwhile, hypnosis is worthwhile.
