Hey #PortfolioDay! I'm a freelance artist who enjoys fantasy themes. Exploring characters and mythical creatures is my specialty. I showcase them through my art and try to bring them to life. 🌐 sleepingfoxart.com #fantasyart #ttrpgart #dragon #kitsune

An angelic anthropomorphic gray and white fox descends from the sunset sky, his golden wings outstretched. Under a sword belt and leather corset, he wears a white and gold trimmed tabard over simple clothes. He holds a flaming holy sword high up in one hand while the other hand is forming a spell. An extremely bright and spiky halo rests behind his head.

An imposing seven tailed gray fox sits in the middle of a cherry blossom grove, one paw raised as he stares down at the viewer with glowing blue eyes. A floating divine shawl wends its way around his neck and under both front legs. The moon illuminates him from behind.

A stag charges down a fog covered path, the flame between his antlers illuminating the foliage around him. The stag has a wary expression, his ears perked forward.

A gigantic green eastern dragon winds around a sunlit mountain. The dragon's horns and fur along its back integrate trees, which meld into the mountain's base. Other mountains are strewn in mist in the background.

"Clarity" Commission for Newie of Rev and Agatha! After having flown into a werewolf rage fending off a bandit attack, Rev starts to come back to his senses under Agatha's calm presence as she winds his favorite scarf around him. #art #dndart #fantasyart #dnd #werewolf #wererat

A gray and white werewolf wearing the tattered remnants of a jacket sits awkwardly on the forest floor, holding up a massive hand to lightly touch the long blue scarf around his neck. His expression is of concerned confusion. A white wererat with auburn hair dresses in a red tabard, cloak, black pants, and leather boots/bracers. She has a small smile on her face as she loosely winds the scarf around the werewolf. They are strongly backlit by the sunlight filtering through the trees. Traces of the battle and bandits remain, stray arrows and an abandoned dagger. The trees immediately around them have large claw marks.

A chibi drawing of a smoky gray kitsune with 3 tails, his fur gradually darker at the top of his head and tail tips. He wears a blue tunic that is longer on one side and leather thigh high boots. He holds out one hand towards the viewer, the greenish blue glow prominent. The other hand is held up in a sword sign.

"Autumn Qilin" Appropriate for this zodiac year, sort of 😆 #art #fantasyart

In a sunny portion of forest, a qilin (or kirin), a hybrid creature with aspects of horse, deer, and dragon, poses on a rocky portion of a hill. The body is a bronze gold and its mane/fur burgundy. It holds up a front leg as if about to take another step. There is a clearing from the trees in the far background, the sunlight framing and washing over the qilin. Its demeanor is majestic and calm as it takes a moment to appraise the viewer.

Hello #PortfolioDay! I'm a freelance illustrator who loves fantasy themes. I enjoy painting ttrpg characters, creatures, and animals! 🎨 sleepingfoxart.com ✉️ sleepingfoxart.com/contact #fantasyart #dndart

A young man with tan skin and light blonde hair glares imperiously down at the viewer. He stands confidently with one hand resting on the pommel of one of his dual swords. A red and black fur trimmed coat rests draped over his shoulders. He wears a loose white shirt and leather corset, under which he wears a long flowing waist coat. A golden metal skull is embossed on the left shoulder of the jacket.

A lithe, serpentine dragon taur perches with his two front legs on one of the branches protruding from the massive tree in the background. One of his back legs dangles in the air as he holds onto a hanging branch with the other talon, his long tail looped loosely around it as well. The humanoid half of his body is a light teal compared to the rest of his dark blue body. He looks up at a hanging crystal egg, gently holding out his hands as if about to touch it.

A muscular gray and white werewolf, Rev, crouches near a stream in a forest, looking down in wonder at his reflection. He feels his mane with a glowing paw, the other holding onto a scarf on the verge of being blown away. 3 spell scrolls whip around him, their runes still glowing - one of them depicts a simply drawn wolf with a d20 rune underneath. Faint blue magic trails off of Rev's body and from the scrolls.

New year, new fox! Xuan Reng is the fox immortal leader of a group of spirits who oversee lost souls. He's under constant pressure to become as great as his nine tailed predecessor. #art #oc #fantasyart

A character sheet that depicts a cool gray, seven tailed fox with glowing elements on the tail tips, claws, eyes, and fangs. A starry blue celestial shawl floats around the top of his back with the ends looping loosely around the front legs. He wears a black and silver necklace with a spectral bell.

The fox's human form is in the upper left, a man dressed in dark blue and silver hanfu robes. His long hair reaches mid back and is white tipped with gray, similarly colored as his seven tails. A light blue celestial shawl floats above his shoulders and loop loosely under each arm. There are jade accessories throughout his attire, most notably the spectral jade on his necklace and the jade half crown that looks like a fox's ear.

"Werebeast Woes" Commission for Newie! Stepping away from the rest of their party, Agatha vents about the frustrating expectations and difficulties of being a wererat, while werewolf Rev lends a sympathetic ear. #art #dndart #fantasyart #furryart #werewolf

The scenery is a bright autumn day with the foliage beginning to change on the mountains in the far background. Up the grassy hill, a sign with a tankard indicates that the white building is an inn or tavern.

Agatha, a white wererat with amber hair, sits on a stone wall. She wears a red tunic with a golden rat emblem. She is gesturing in an exasperated manner as she vents to Rev, a huge gray and white werewolf leaning against the wall next to her. He wears a shredded jacket that's way too small for his frame and a long blue scarf. He tilts his head and ears towards Agatha as he listens intently.

Hello #PortfolioDay 🎨 I'm a freelance illustrator who loves fantasy themes and creatures! Whether it's my own oc's or commission work, I enjoy exploring a character's background and story! sleepingfoxart.com #art #fantasyart #dndart

A white werewolf crouches in the snow and looks warily off to the side, cradling a floating blue crystal in one hand. The background is a somber forest in winter, trees with bare branches and with snow on their trunks as snow whips past.

A surreal painting of a white and black lion running across a misty plane. They mirror each other's pose. The white lion has a golden glowing mane and tail. The black lion has a long flowing silver mane and tail. Light trails follow their front paws. The background is also split between night and day.

An elf paladin with gold hair and metallic gold cracks across his face reverently holds up a coin to the sky. He is dressed in leather armor and chainmail, a black and gold balancing scale on the front of his tabard. A sword with a scale-like hilt and coin decoration is strapped to his back. Strewn about him in the grass background are a group of defeated bandits. He looks upwards towards where a divine light gently shines down on him, offering a bitten golden coin to his deity.

On the left is the muscular brown and dusty purple werecat form, who brushes back his hair with one giant paw and licks his fangs as he leers at the viewer. He sports a pair of gray horns that curve slightly over his head. His hair is long and partly pulled back into a loose ponytail, the same color as his bright red tail, the tips slightly glowing.

On the right is Lan's elf form as he would normally appear. His hair is slightly reddish brown and tied in a short ponytail.
