It is so hard ;w; it feels like my brain is getting squished thinking about everything that needs to be worked out

Mali Comics :) @sleepimalicomics.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Realistically I *should* be working on something different and not a mystery comic project that isn't DitD but it was the first thing I wanted to do once I somehow got myself enough time to make some art

Gosh I am so slow at layouting... but I am cooking :)

Also I can make absolutely zero promises on when or how frequently I can post comics again but.... I'm looking forward to it 👁

One thing I realised though is writing the alt text for full comic pages is really draining for me, so I might just stick to posting previews and other art where that is simpler on this account unless I can find someone to volunteer to write it :'-)👍

Long time no post! Ngl life kinda imploded and I haven't been able to draw much in the way of comics for a long time (don't recommend having comics as a hobby/side gig when art is your main gig lmao) I keep thinking of making comics again these days though, can't stop thinking about it even

Hey sorry about falling off posting updates! I will catch up soon. I've just been having a very stressful time. In the meantime, I have all the pages available on Patreon if you wanna read ahead. I'm currently on a break, but new pages will be up in September or October 💛

Devil in the Details: A story about a girl giving her all to find magic in a world where almost everyone can use it except her.

Digital art of my characters, Noah, a tall blonde man, and Astrid, a short woman with red fluffy hair sitting and leaning on each other. Astrid is holding a spear and Noah is holding a wand. The both have a horn on their heads. Title text: Devil in the Details

comics are a lot of work. too much work. cartoonists have died from overwork. good people. honour their memories by taking care of yourself, because a corporation sure as fuck won’t thank u

It's still a bit odd looking at these old pages again, as they were drawn years ago, but again I'm not planning on redrawing them unless something drastic happens because I'd rather carry the story forward instead 😂 Time is precious.
