Did a quick search and seeing several sites mentioning using it and iVRy from Steam, so could be possible?

This along with the PC adapter is a good option for those wanting to get (back) into PCVR for less than a fortune and not have to sell your soul to Meta. There’s even been strong community support to add features that were missing on the PC adapter release like eye tracking!

They are bad here as well. Way too aggressive and do everything but pay attention to what they are doing

I’ve had a wonderful weekend with my bf @nebbles.bsky.social, went to @nuzzles.uk on Saturday. Was so much fun, plus my new Donny the Spidercat cosplay is complete and I loved wearing it at nuzzles.uk for the first time. Can’t wait to see my bf again soon.🥰😘❤️💙

How do you blow a 27 point lead coming out of the half 😬

Restaurats looks fun but suffers that difficulty of trying to get others onboard to play like Lethal Company or Repo.

These are also the same people that will push and shove to the front of the line when they open preorders. Go ahead, make a 8k headset that can run all AAA games at 240fps locally and can frack every bend and hole in your body that’s the same size and weight of a candy bar for <$500, I’ll wait 😂

I love reading the discourse about the Frame. 🤣 People out there wanting a $5k+ HMD that weighs 10lbs and would produce the heat of a sun all for the price of the Quest 3 and weight and form factor of the BSB

BSB is good if you already have base stations/knuckles and want better panels. Frame is targeting standalone and wireless but had to compromise hardware to get that. Will be interesting to see the price

010

Slash Sabercat @slashsabercat.bsky.social · 12/11/2025

Inside out tracking helps with the space issue. As many positives as base stations have, they do need space to use. And same thoughts with privacy and business practices as well

Sorry for geeking out about tech. This sort of thing is my jam and to see an announcement after years of leaks and waiting 🤓 It’s not everything I wanted but figured it wouldn’t be because of the technology we have now. It’s good to see competition though!

Slash Sabercat @slashsabercat.bsky.social · 12/11/2025

As far as playing flat non VR games with a regular controller it’s a huge win. I have a hard time seeing the screen on the Deck

110

Slash Sabercat @slashsabercat.bsky.social · 12/11/2025

I’m hoping it will be competitive price wise with the Quest. It’s already a big plus with me being in the steam ecosystem and not Meta

030

Slash Sabercat @slashsabercat.bsky.social · 12/11/2025

The good Finger tracking on the controllers, weight/design, eye tracking/foveated streaming, expandability and wireless The bad B&W pass-through, not sold on the speaker design (yet), non controller finger tracking Will see how that holds up when they announce the price and it becomes available

230

Slash Sabercat @slashsabercat.bsky.social · 12/11/2025

My thoughts on the Steam Frame. I’ve been watching leaks for years so nothing was a surprise. Not sure what people’s expectations were, you’re not running AAA games on 2 4k displays with a phone CPU It’s not enthusiast level, it’s targeted at Quest users that hate Meta. We’ll see with the price

270

Slash Sabercat @slashsabercat.bsky.social · 12/11/2025

I think they might be targeting Meta with this, this isn't enthusiast level so it might be more affordable than originally thought.
