Two of Mexican cinema's biggest names just sat down together to call out Hollywood, and they didn't hold back. In San Diego, Guillermo del Toro and Guillermo Navarro spoke openly about the bias they've seen and lived through in the industry, a conversation captured on camera by the Associated Press this past week. When filmmakers with this much acclaim still have to name the barriers Latinos face in Hollywood, it's proof that representation is a fight that isn't over, and that speaking up is its own kind of cultural power.
