i hope i can become an artist full time one day, but working towards it makes me so happy. i have so many of you following me now. im going to do some emergency warhammer art and then do baldurs gate. and also furry. #smallartist #furryart #fossa #adoptable

slappymingus @slappymingus.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

i drew a new fossa adoptable called nikolai ! available on vgen. yes those are tracksuit bottoms with the stripes. if i didnt have to show off his tootsies he wouldve gotten kubota slides. idk been seeing a lot of disco elysium mismatched outfits and matched that aura #furryart #furry #smallartist

before and after the redesign of my oc. he used to be a bull terrier but i opted for doberman in the end. #furry #smallartist #furryart #oc #redesign

slappymingus @slappymingus.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

art of my oc, conrad ! tried a slightly different rendering method today, i put the shading over the colour instead of the colour over the greyscale. a lot easier. okay im gonna go build some tyranids now bye #furry #smallartist #furryart #furryartist #speedpaint #timelapse

redesign of my furry oc, conrad albrecht. a dobermann forced into fighting to escape poverty, and made it out alive. despite his traumas & past, he'll show that all of us can change, nothings in our 'nature' that cant be overcome. hes not a dangerous dog #furry #smallartist #dobermann #oc

not using layers means accidentally drawing straight down on the image sometimes. this was not a very epic start to the week #furry #smallartist #furryart #artprocess

quick question, do y’all here like half naked men too or is it just women been playing baldurs gate 3 again and need to know if im wrong to start drawing astarion or halsin or my thot drow man or if i should start with shart and karlach and such (non-exhaustive list) id make a poll if i could

you do. like part of learning is seeing things and being able to put it down onto paper via practice. like those timed poses you could draw in 30 sec, 1 min, 2 min, etc. those helped me a lot when i was a kid. but maybe thats changed now ?? also this is an opinion dont crucify me thx

000

slappymingus @slappymingus.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

art, more like the ‘hi i traced this pose from a photo, tacked on my style, and sold it to someone for £60’ feels a bit odd to me is all. also i was always taught that, aside from to help you understand anatomy when youre struggling, tracing, same with grids, doesnt help in the long run if thats all

slappymingus @slappymingus.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

i dont know man i remember when people used to get flamed for this on deviantart and most art spaces, but maybe things are different now ?? or is this just a tiktok thing ?? obviously if you work for a company and theres a time crunch or you animate/rotoscope it is an art form. im not arguing if its

showcase for furry commissions ! unusual one today, this is a greater glider fursona character sheet for my bf !! he said he wanted to be big n fluffy n the second pic to be a portrait where he looked ‘disgusted’. very fun to draw n love the colours !! #furry #fursona #charactersheet #refsheet #oc

slappymingus @slappymingus.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

ok so i originally tried to use the bunny character sheet layout as a base by duplicating the file but it ended up filming the timelapse of that, ended up drawing it from scratch anyway so apologies for the janky speedpaint, ive got another character sheet tomorrow #furry #charactersheet #speedpaint
