And the idea that it makes people safer is laughable on several levels. 1. Sexual assault is still very much illegal. 2. Trans people don't commit any kind crimes at higher rates 3. Someone who would commit sexual assault probably wouldn't be stopped by the fact that they're not allowed in.

That... isn't true at all. Any surgeon will tell you that. Vasectomies take around 15 minutes and only require local anesthetic. Tube tying requires general and can come with way more side effects.

Except the success rate varies wildly and drops the longer it's left. Just saying "No surgery is 100% effective" is a strawman argument. Vasectomy reversals fail a lot of the time, and you can't "just get it reversed", nor can you just keep trying. Vasectomies should always be treated as permanent.
