Seconded. I don’t even wanna tell them unless I absolutely have to. I remember when I was younger they would claim that if you admit to your doctor that you are addicted/dependent on a med they prescribed, it was the doc’s responsibility to wean you off. In reality they would just cut you off.

Back when I bought the album in 2002, when pressed for a comp, I’d say El-P’s ‘Fantastic Damage’ was kinda the hip-hop equivalent of NIN’s ‘The Downward Spiral.’ FF a few yrs in to the future and El is tapped for a NIN remix. In turn Reznor would appear on El’s own “Flyentology.” Cray Cray:!

Damn it. I pre-purchased my drive-in ticket for Spider-Man because I was afraid it could possibly sellout but if I hadn’t there’s a possibility that I would go see The Odyssey again. Still I think I will go see it Sunday night. Never know if this could be the last weekend.

Some thoughts on The Odyssey: First, to give it up to Leguizamo for being in two great film adaptations of classic and renowned literary works: The Odyssey and Romeo & Juliet. Second, I first became acquainted with Nolan with Memento. Similarities in structure between that & this film.

I know why my generation and the next jump job to job so often. There is no reward for loyalty and good service. 8 years. Never missed a day. Never been late. Applying for other jobs in the same line of work and not a one of them cares. Experience means shit. You get minimum pay. The system sucks.

My IPhone Weather app for “Feels Like” has been pretty off for awhile now but I can’t find how to show previous temps throughout the day elsewhere. The heat index was actually well over 100, Wednesday. When it was 85 at 9:20pm, the heat index was actually 96!
