AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 9/10 is a powerful reason to be running City plots. Decks with City plots lean more controlling to get the most value from their plot deck. City of Sin is great at slowing our opponent right down and copying it with City of Spiders makes for our closer.

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 8/10 only arrived in the last cycle but was able to make waves in Melee for the last year of 1.0 and bring back an older Melee deck House of Dreams Winterfell. In 1.0 Melee, you could defend for players you support and the Lord Commander could defend MIL for anyone.

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 7/10 was an econ staple. Most decks started with one of each of most of the Streets. Non limited 0 cost econ really improves setups and we get the benefit of it the turn we marshal it. The only decks that didn't include these had some kind of deckbuilding or play restrictions

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 5/10 is one of the Seas. Flexible, nonlimited economy that can help splashing. This one was the best one because splashing Asha Greyjoy (WLL) in a Lanni Power Behind The Throne deck was so good. So good in fact that Asha got errataed to House Greyjoy only.

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 4/10 is a card you could legally register in your decklist. I suppose if you really wanted to you could House of Dreams for Noyne and use this shuffle as a bad Lantern Control engine? It's just not as good as what we can do in 2.0 with Greensight etc.

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 2/10 was truly awful in Constructed formats. Awful rate, most hated trait and Lanni had access to unconditional draw and I'd argue the most competition for 4 cost slots. This is a CCG reprint though and it was ok in Limited where Draw, Stealth, and ally hate are much rarer.

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 1/10 looks like a control tool for Burn decks to deal with Characters that can't be discarded or killed and that was likely the design intent. I only ever saw it get used in Viserys Targaryen combo decks to bounce Viserys in emergencies and rebuy all our cantrip attachments

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 30/9 was an early CCG staple but a stinker in its LCG life. Back in CCG, Gold was taxed at end of Marshalling so all costs during Challenges were paid with Influence. In LCG, we added the Taxation phase to the end of the round and many challenges effects cost gold...

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 29/9 looks like she'd only go in Brotherhood decks but her real home was in Martell KotHH control with very few Characters. Her ability guarantees board presence, slows opponent's down by ensuring they can't claim power from us and keeping our Flea Bottom Scavengers live.

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 28/9 is technically good I guess, but doesn't really lend himself to what Bara normally wants to be doing. I have played him obv (I stan Florents). Imo his best home was in my Bara HoD Bitterbridge Encampment, a Knights Toolbox deck with an underrated tutor engine (see below)

AGoT 1.0 LG Random for 25/9 let's you break a fundamental limitation of the game, only flipping one plot per turn. Best used in Melee Maester decks to open with an At the Gates, then kneel that Maester to flip Good for the Gander and copy another player's tutor opener (which were common). Banger.

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 24/9 is an absolute banger. Sure, it was occasionally used to turn Margaery (ATOtT) into an assassin, but it's best use was as discard fodder in HoD Dorans Solar. The OOH penalty doesn't matter as we never play it, we discard it to our outlets, draw from Solar, and recur it.

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 23/9 saw basically no Joust play but was the go to Dany for Melee. With 3 opponents and power totals translating to tournament points, non kneelers and Renown both become so much more important in Melee. After this Dany, Dragon Rush decks became a staple of the format.

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 19/9 saw play in slower Bara Decks as a tech choice when you expect to see Stark Siege of Winterfell in the meta. I've always considered it a worse Shadows and Spiders with kinder numbers, but maybe that's just because I was always more inclined to Lanni & Martell.

AGoT LCG 1.0 Random for 26/9 was a plot that had good numbers and was solid card advantage in Tully themed Stark decks. The first 1.0 draft set (Westeros) had a Tully sub theme for Stark and this was a good signpost in that format.
