Today I learned the guy in that pick up artist book put out his own book THIS. GODDDAMN. YEAR. about his AI girlfriend and he believes she's real. I say "put out" instead of "wrote" because it was "written" in collaboration... With his AI girlfriend. I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

Testing to see if I can fix the visit command for PlateUp, I finally broke down and just spammed it repeatedly over a hundred times and... Now it works. Every time. Consistently. There's something to be said for percussive maintenance.

Now that we've got some official art rather than the super desaturated promo shots, these aren't that bad. The colors are vibrant, they don't look as weathered, these look fine to me. Yeah, they're still kinda ugly as far as cartoony Nintendo characters go, but they're fine if they want realism.
