iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I played Neos/Resonite because it's the ultimate VR creative medium, you can literally make anything as a game dev it tickled my fancy and had a great community to share it with. Sadly, it's been on the decline, and feels like a ghost town anymore, i remember when we had up to 500 users online...

Sometimes you gotta rattle the cage a little bit for the discussion to start and for meaningful change.

I did that wasted my 20s on a degree i failed to get, the degree also had no future because technology evolved so fast. Just go to a trade school, 2 years and it's done and an actual chance at a job.

Will have a massive flood of AI hardware at the end of this, maybe we can turn all of those data center buildings into homeless shelters.

Drawing of an anthro-furry female cheetah on a hoverbike stopped in the middle of an asphalt highway. She has luggage and a guitar case strapped to the bike and she looks backwards to the distance with a sad expression.

Don't forget the: "I will be lonely there because not all of my friends are downloading the program". It's a vicious cycle. Same issue Resonite is dealing with vs VRChat.

Well Tanks 9000 is the single player sequel to Tanks 3000, it expands on the game's lore a bit while providing a completely different experience than 3000. Really it was a project i came up with on a whim to learn the Godot engine and get back into gamedev.

Yeah and then there was the AI skybox generator, it no longer works because it went to a paid service. Resonite needs more skyboxes, maybe i should.... make some (by hand of course)

Yep it does, i rebooted the headset and that seemed to fix it. It's definitely a bit undercooked, it still has a lot of bugs that need fixed.

As much as we love pounding on #Resonite for all it's problems and as much as we want to smack the devs with a wet noodle. I personally don't want to see the thing fail, i don't want VRChat to be a monopoly, so give the platform some love for all our sakes.

Skywind Kitsune @skywindkitsune.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Shrike you are one of the smartest individuals on the platform why don't we become the solution and just fix the platform ourselves. Let's be the solution to the problem, there has to be a way to make this thing successful.
