Dreamed about a mother with a braid eating dinner with her daughter in her lap. Sitting on the opposite end of the table was a monster with hair-like tendrils on its face. Each time the mother ate, her braid grew and the monster’s tendrils grew longer.

I always have a really difficult time when I’m called into work on my off days. It’s not because I hate my job; I genuinely love it. It’s because it’s really hard to figure out how to reserve my energy levels when I have a last-minute shift to cover. I’m exhausted.
