• Anyone signed in can now write a post in SkySweep and send it out right away, on the new Compose page. It's free. It's in your account menu, or the More menu on a phone. A post can be text, up to 10 images, or one video, with Bluesky's own content labels.

New in SkySweep: Compose and post from SkySweep, with hidden tags (2 of 2)
• Posts can carry hidden tags. They don't show on the post. Hashtag search and Bluesky's hashtag pages read them, so the post turns up when someone looks for the tag. Up to 8 per post, and a tag can also go in the caption the usual way. People who muted a word still won't see a post that carries it, hidden or not.
• Scheduled posts can carry hidden tags too. On the Compose page, members with Premium can hand a draft straight to the scheduler.

• Premium members (founding members included) can now schedule posts. Write the post, pick a time, and SkySweep posts it within about 15 minutes of that time. It's in the More menu, or your account menu on desktop. It's a beta, so tell us through Send feedback if a post doesn't go out right.

New in SkySweep: Scheduled posts are open to Premium, with video and tag ideas (2 of 4)
• A scheduled post can have text, up to 10 images, or one video. Videos can be up to 3 minutes and 100 MB. Bluesky processes the video when you press Schedule, which can take a minute. If a post can't go out, you get an inbox message saying why.
• Your images and video upload from your browser straight to Bluesky and wait in your own Bluesky account until the post goes out. SkySweep stores the text, the time, and a reference to the media. The files stay with Bluesky.

New in SkySweep: Scheduled posts are open to Premium, with video and tag ideas (3 of 4)
• Pick a time and you get up to 20 tag ideas for it. These are the tags that get more likes than usual in the 3 hours after that time. 2.0× next to a tag means it gets double its usual likes then. Switch between your own tags, all of adult Bluesky, or one community. Tap a tag to add it.
• The tag numbers come from posts their authors labeled as adult, and the likes on those posts. Creators who don't label their posts aren't counted, so a tag they use a lot shows fewer likes here than it gets.

• Faces are found on every frame and grouped by person, so you can keep yourself sharp and hide everyone else. A box you draw follows what it covers as the camera moves.
• After a render it checks the finished video for any face it can still see and shows you where. It can mute or bleep a name, and it removes the location and camera details phones save with every video.
• It runs on your computer and doesn't connect to the internet, so your videos never get uploaded, including to us.

• Nobody should have to pay to keep unwanted explicit photos out of their replies. Reply guard is a free tool that does one thing: when a stranger posts an explicit image in one of your threads, it hides the reply within about a minute. Turn it on at /app/reply-guard.

• How it works. SkySweep sees new replies on your posts as they happen, waits about 45 seconds for Bluesky's classifier to label the image, then hides the reply from your thread. Bluesky's labels for porn, nudity, and sexual are the signal, so it works on images and video. Text harassment carries no label and isn't covered.
• Two options: allow explicit replies from your followers, and what to do with the sender: hide only (default), hide and mute, or hide and block.

New in SkySweep: Trending tags, live, and Niche analytics opens to Premium (2 of 3)
• SkySweep now reads the whole network's public activity as it happens and shows what's trending, two ways. "Adult Bluesky" counts posts that carry an adult label their author added, plus the likes landing on them, so it ranks tags by where the audience actually is. "All of Bluesky" counts every public post, labeled or not. Both come in a last-15-minutes and a last-hour view, updated every few minutes.

• This lives on the Niche analytics page (formerly Niche insights, formerly test-only), which is now part of Premium. Your dashboard also gets a small "Trending in adult Bluesky" card with the past hour's top tags.
• Two things to know about the adult list. Creators who don't label their posts aren't counted, so tags popular with non-labeling posters read low. And we don't track likes for the all-of-Bluesky list, the volume is too high, so that one ranks by posts alone.

Haven't checked out @skysweepapp.bsky.social app in bit, so I go on to see how many legitimate followers I have. 2480ish (I forget the actual #) Am sad now. Not skysweeps fault, there's a lot of neat features! Just bummed that the ones I blocked, don't auto unfollow.

Additionally I updated the actual follower section to include ACTIVE followers, ie have taken some action in the last two weeks, and then how many of those are interacting with you. Bluesky says I have over 1K followers, but it’s closer to 600, and of that only about 300 are active and interacting
