Sky @skyshard.itch.io · 14/07/2026photoshop's filter gallery feels a bit ancient to use but i think it's quite good for doing variations on this since other filters there (paunt daubs, watercolor, chalk & charcoal, etc.) can be applied underneath the reticulation to make certain shapes/edges stand out in the final image 100
Sky @skyshard.itch.io · 14/07/2026i like reticulation because you can get similar results without emphasizing pixels. here's the same effect at two different resolutions. at lower resolutions i think it has a very similar visual effect to dithering 101
