Way better for data privacy and security because it's not trying to grow perpetually etc. I'm really hoping that as these tech giants collapse the LLM model is replaced by SLMs because I genuinely think that's a helpful and healthy way to implement ai.

I was at a work conference a few months ago and heard some very promising stuff about SLMs (small language models). Building an ai meant to do one specific thing instead of a huge gargantuan monster that's supposed to do everything. They can run off a normal sized server (so no need for datacenters)

Ai videos still look fake and people can tell they're fake Chatbots still hallucinate and I think people are gonna get sick of having to correct it's work all the time and just go back to doing it themselves cause it's not gonna get much better

I'm perpetually an existential optimist so I think it's only a matter of time before people (especially investors) realize AI is not living up to all these big promises the tech ghouls have sold us and it all falls apart. As someone who's in my 30s I can tell you this is a very normal part of growing up. Your priorities shift, your interests change, your life becomes more stable and as a result going out and partying until super late just becomes less interesting. I still go out and dance at raves! I just do it less
