it's kind of both. dataset needed for generating clusters just grew 10x firehose throughput, thus memory+cpu demand for indexers grew 4-5x this is my current setup (that is no longer handling it):

and I also stamp logarithm on top of like and reply counts and then do pairwise harmonic mean (mutuality) of resulting points and get it projected to an undirected graph for Leiden to chomp on and go to sleep. I have no stiens to back it up, it just felt right 😅

Sure! So NZ nebula is already #5 in your top, so if you give @brooklynmarie.bsky.social (e2903793 in pic) or @fooddatanerd.com (e3238786 in pic) community 1 or 2 more likes - NZ should go away from your home feed portion (might still apprear every 6 posts or so as long as it's top 7).

Oh and you should be able to turn off non-English languages in settings by setting "English" in your Settings => Languages => Content languages => pick English. It should remove most if not all of non-English posts from any custom feeds including SkyGraph.

this search can be tricky, some names take longer to find and have more lag. especially for any handle starting with "stephen" 😅. just wait out a few second lag, keep entering symbols and it should work. worked for me at "charlenedra". also press a little arrow in the search bar to preview search

getting there from the world view is easy: 1) search for your username 2) find a community you're in. in your case you're the leader of the community, so it's even named the same 3) click "Preview community"

essencially it's a map of communities: all bsky accounts are grouped by the algorithm into different groups in 6 iterations/resolutions. Each resolution splits into groups differently: Gigaclusters are usually bigger and there's less of them Constellations are smaller and there's more of them

there's "Show legend" box with more details on the algorithm, nodes, node sizes and relationships I've also added some tooltips for the basic elements in the selected node menu. It's still not ideal, feel free to ask if you have any specific questions

This map is different from a typical Atlas you might be used to. Nodes are NOT accounts, relationships are NOT interactions (at least not literally. They are still a strong signal of amount of interactions between nodes due to the nature of layered community detection).

Nodes are communities (not single accounts) rated at different resolutions. Each node/community has a "leader" - the most socially active account rated by weighted mutual interactions. Using a "leader" in the name is a temporary way to tell the difference between the nodes.

Node size is the number of users/accounts in the node (community).

All arrows indicate "PARTIALLY_CONTAINS" relationship between communities.

Relationship weight is the amount of accounts from child node, contained in the parent node. e.g. for "blue" arrow: if a Galaxy A (size:7982) has a 7961 relationship with a Cluster B (size: 24436), it means B contains 7961 accounts from A. "contains" relationship is reversed for a "red" arrow.

Choosing .art🎨 domain was not a random choice for our 📊. Meet "The Peacock 🌈🦚" and "The Pawprints 🐾👣" layouts. The difference between the two is only visual. 🌈🦚 has hidden gravity sources that organize community layers into "feathers" 🐾👣 shows (arguably) more realistic gravity.

There's an issue with density and size of Clusters and Superclusters around English filament, where all the Bsky developers live. This is where all of the buzz and majority of top posters reside, so I might recalculate that region on different tunings. Or try a different approach to Superclusters.

Another option is to arrange some crowdsourcing where people within the communities self identify. Also, classifying (naming) them is not necessary for quality feeds like "For You". You can already build personalized paths for each user from Constellation all the way up to Filament:
