"Well, we're out here now.... now what?" Cookie and Fini, probably 😂 When I bring the two of them outside when it's warmer, they often just stay in the toilet i brought them out in and look around in confusion, as if they've never seen this place in their lives. 😅 #ACookieADay #FiniCore

Two fluffy rabbits are sitting closely together inside a light blue and white plastic tray placed on green grass outdoors. The rabbit on the left is a long-haired, tortoiseshell-colored lop with floppy ears. The rabbit on the right has upright ears, brown and orange patches on its back, and a white chest and face. The tray is filled with dried hay, and the surrounding background features lush green bushes and plants. Overlaying text on the top left reads "@OBDsity BUNNIES WITHOUT A PLAN".

I expected the English nationalism out of Ivanhoe. I did not expect the rampant and relentless antisemitism tho. Like boy. There's a lot of it.

i picture caranthir with this menacing resting scowl but for maedhros i think it’s not as simple as his expression being hostile but more that one has this deeply unnerving almost nauseous feeling that he is looking through you. he incites prey animal instincts in a person

you ever pick up a book and there's an aura to it that is like... this feels like it might be queer. not anything advertised as such, the synopsis is about something else. and then you read it. and it is queer.

not engaging with social media for a while has you reading stuff people write and going like y'all get viciously mad over genuinely inane stuff. maybe being nasty all the time and surrounded by nasty people all the time does kill neurons

"fiction normalizes—" idk abt any of that but I think social media has normalized absolutely batshit behavior and social conventions that are inconceivable to anyone that is actually well-balanced and thriving in the real world and that's a bigger problem than fiction will ever be

I cut people out of my life before because of the way they talked about others they called friends behind said friends' backs. and I'll do it again. they're nothing and they deserve nothing.

castlevania has a lot of flaws but something utterly broke my brain when during the season 1 finale dracula goes like "my boy. lisa I'm killing my boy." insane. the broken voice. the moment of lucidity. the feanorism.

I think if you're going to do a macbeth story you shouldn't open it with three "witches" meeting up and super literally quoting and namedropping macbeth, and then reappearing casually here and there to do the whole "you'll be king". you're leaning too hard on your source. you need to trust yourself.

The secret society of brownies is having a very impawtant meeting 🧐🧐🧐 #DailyYoshon #ACookieADay #TeamBrownies

Three fluffy, brown-and-white rabbits are gathered closely together in a lush green garden, looking like they're in a tiny, adorable meeting. Each bunny has a small, vibrant blue flower delicately placed on its head, adding a whimsical touch to the scene. The garden background is soft and slightly blurred, emphasizing the cozy and peaceful gathering of these charming little friends.

i mean sure it might be politically questionable when ‘found family’ just forces unrelated characters into traditional familial roles but most of all it’s not quite as sexy. far more romantic for the relationship to be brotherfatherloverfriend than neatly any one of those things

I don't think real history should be allowed to do things like "the last emperor of Rome was named Romulus Augustus after the first emperor and the founder of the city". That's too much symbolic swag.

likewise, you can't make loyalty lord/vassal or warrior or whatever cute. the dominance element is potent. the abnegation of the self is erotic, but it isn't wholesome.

Loyalty trope kink should have something foul to it. If someone is acting like a guard/attack dog there should be a sinking feeling of alienation or dread. It's your duty to make it hot but making it cute is a crime.

it tracks that I should develop an interest in the asoiaf universe only when a weird ass royal line whose story is described in novellas that are historical records begins being involved and also when I find some person going on crazily about cobbled-together lore theories about their ancient past.
