The heat index is 103 degrees, so I decided it was a good time to re-pot the giant milkweed. Found this catapiller🌱 happily munching away. We have a resident population of Monarchs that don't migrate to Mexico. 🌱

🌱 Well, that was fun. The heat index is 96, and we have significant smoke from wild fires this morning. Still had to do a search and destroy mission on the incarnatas. About a bizzlion aphids are no longer with us. All for the love of Monarchs.

I've eliminated all the tropical milkweed and gone with swamp and great varieties. The catapillers loved both of them.
