My interpretation was that Dot was predicting and warning - quite accurately, from what I've seen - that a lot of people wouldn't take Wackd's actions very well. And, yeah, they haven't. That's not Dot's fault.

Makes sense. I don't subscribe to the patreon though, just buy all the books (and have a mini fridge covered in DoA magnets).

Could you maybe just try voicing criticisms without wild personal attacks? Remember Willis is still a person. :I

Kinda funny follow-up: A few days ago, I made and posted this meme regarding the prior situation. A few minutes later, Discord's auto moderator deleted it and restricted my account. I appealed and had the restriction overturned within an hour. Oh, Discord.

The subreddit absolutely is. Toxic as well. I primarily follow it because Reddit actually shows me when a new comic has been posted and that makes me remember to keep caught up. I don't engage in the comments there much for similar reasons to why I don't engage in the main ones.

From what I've seen - and admittedly that's not everything, as I generally avoid the comments due to Wackd's moderation style tripping my injustice-ometer - I agree. Having a comment section invites critique. Disliking the direction a story is going is not claiming ownership of it.

Yeah, reading the actual exchange does not make Wackd look good. And this is entirely based on their own words as an outside observer with no attachment to either party apart from being a DoA fan since 2014 and thus more inclined to think positively of Willis and people they trust.

Discord, could you maybe train your moderation bot to recognize references to popular works of fiction? That'd be great. This is as much a threat as a kid saying they'd like to be a Jedi.

So, @discordsupport.bsky.social apparently thinks it is "violent content" to say that if I had the Death Note from the popular anime/manga Death Note, I'd use it to make the world a better place by getting rid of fascist leaders. And now my account is restricted. We live in the stupidest timeline.

I've been feeling increasingly recently that I do not belong in this fandom. That I am, with a few (appreciated!) exceptions, not wanted in it. And I don't know what to do with that. I've built most of my life around the pony fandom and the people I've met through it since 2019.

I'm so fucking tired of grieving. Five and a half fucking years. Five and a half years they've lived rent free in my broken brain while in real life they probably don't even remember I exist. I want to let go and move on but I don't know if I can. This grief will die with me.

Starting to feel like maybe I should take this 'art horse' thing off my profile. I haven't drawn anything of substance in ages.

It has no adherents, and if it knew of the existence of life beyond itself and its Spawn, would think as little of it as we do of the microscopic mites that live on our eyelashes. It simply is, was, and will ever be.

It asks no worship or belief, but its presence is felt everywhere, in the tiny shards of blue crystal, eternally glowing faintly, that can be found on every planet throughout known space.

The Diamond God, the catalyst for the Big Bang, has laid dormant in an uncharted system between the galaxies since the creation of the universe. Surrounded by guardian Diamond Spawn, it waits for the universe's outward expansion to slow, stop, and reverse, to begin the process again.

The trans panic is maddening, because trans people are expected to defend ourselves with logic science and any sign of emotion is a failure. And yet the anti-trans campaign is nothing but appeals to emotion unburdened by facts, precedent, or empathy.
