How it started vs. how it’s going Garden Edition

My two-tiered garden overgrown with weeds with two blue pots with dead basil in the center of the upper tier.

Upper half of my garden planted with beans, squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, and seeds for spinach and peas.

Lower tier of the garden planted with purple pot, zucchini, spinach, and seeds for beets, radishes, and more peas. The blue pots are in the far end of the garden and now have strawberries in them.

My jar of bead release was getting a little clumpy on the bottom so I brought it home to stir it. I forgot it at home and ran out of dipped mandrels Monday. Oops! Instead of calling it a day I made twisties that actually turned out ok! It’s tough melting to the core on a Nortel Minor, but it worked.

I made another video/reel! A local radio station, WZBG in Torrington, made a radio ad (I collaborated on the copy) and is running it for four weeks. So I edited a little video I took of the booth when I restocked last week and put the radio ad on it. Ta-da!!! What do you think? 😁

October 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. I’ve had 2 or 3 miscarriages. 2 were confirmed at 22 weeks and ~8 weeks gestation, and the third was likely although it was so early I didn’t take a pregnancy test. I don’t feel like talking about it much today, maybe another time.

You never know what you’ll find at the wine store. Four bottles 10-year-old Tobin James Ballistic Zinfandel were forgotten on the bottom shelf and collecting dust when they were saved from their purgatory. The cork from the first bottle broke, but the wine itself tasted great! Cheers! 🍷🍷

Yesterday I refreshed my booth at @marketstreetcreatives and someone suggested decorating the bottom. It looks like it cuts off at the ankles. I don’t want to use furniture because it’ll get kicked or irritate someone. So it would have to be something flat on the walls. Any suggestions???

We got home from a quick trip to Las Vegas to visit family, and these two went to Birdie Camp. Kiwi had a really good baf (two handed for the first time!) then slept on my shoulder for an hour. Popcorn wound up chilling on Kiwi’s cage, then later in her own cage. Now everybirdie is in bed. ⬇️
