Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 03/09/2026While I kind of agree, I also think this scammer is not a good person and probably not helping his family or community either. I understand why people turn to scamming, but being poor doesn't make it right. 110

Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 10/08/2026Bruh I wrote a bad SF short story about something like this in middle school 🤦♂️ 030

Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Exactly. Its simple game theory. Lying and breaking the law makes them more money, so they will lie and break the law. That's "good business". It's illogical to expect a corporation act in any way that makes it less money (such as creating jobs or offering money to communities) 021
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Even before data centers by default position has been to assume every single thing a corporation says is an outright lie. This is based on years of evidence that every thing they say is a lie. Its simply logical to mistrust a proven liar motivated only by greed. 170
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 01/08/2026My hot take is people who hate country music are NPCs without original music taste. There are so many incredible country music artists that when I hear this take all I can think is you got your music opinions from an internet post and have never actually listened to country 520
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 01/08/2026For sure. Her bass riffs carried some of my favorite pixies songs. Still love the pixies more than the breeders but Kim Deal rocks 010
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 26/07/2026How would the "weight" of a space station pose a threat to a planet lol 110
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 16/06/2026I love the texture, especially in the highlights on your jacket and in Michelle's dress. 000
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 15/06/2026I want to add Ambiguity Machines by Vandana Singh. I love SF short stories and this is one of my favorite collections. 021
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 15/06/2026Wait isn't FISA the one that authorized indefinite detainment without charges under Obama? So, this is a good thing? 000
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 11/06/2026I like how even their own headline makes it sound like a nothingburger 010
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 10/05/2026Global/national trends like that dont oscillate wildly except in massive catastrophes like COVID or natural disasters. 5.5% is a big drop for one year, and it will likely keep falling. It will be interesting to see this year's numbers, if its still down even with the world cup that's a huge red flag 060

Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 08/05/2026Catholics also believe in atoning for sins through physical punishment - monks practice self flaggelation, wear crowns of thornes, scratchy horsehair shirts, and in some places even crucify themselves. Sounds a bit like BDSM... 020
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 01/05/2026Fun fact this film took 800,000 hours to render, split across 87 dual-core CPUs. They could render less than 30 seconds a day. Nowadays Pixar uses a render farm with 2000 machines and 24,000 cores - and an iPhone has 20x the power of that original render farm. 190
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 29/04/2026Inconvenience is what makes protests effective. It forces people to listen to your message and makes it personal to them. If you buy World Cup tickets you are directly complicit in the human rights abuses perpetrated by FIFA and the US government 010
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 29/04/2026Remember when the right got people fired for quoting Charlie Kirk's own words? These scumbags openly advocate violence and hate. They deserve to be fired. 000
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 24/04/2026Honestly, if we're going to have executions I would rather it be by firing squad. Its somehow more humane than any other way, and it also forces the public and the executioner to directly face the reality of the law. 160

Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 28/03/2026The Audio Technica LP60 is a great budget option. AT is a very well respected audio brand and the LP60 is a solid, simple turntable with enough quality in the parts that matter while also not breaking the bank 010

Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 01/01/2026I play it on a steam deck! I just got it, I played Hades 1 on and off for like a year and got farther in Hades 2 in 2 weeks because I so rarely have time to sit down at my desk for a game 030

Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 22/09/2025Disney has been this since their founding. They started out making racist propaganda. Frankly I don't understand how anyone has ever liked or supported Disney. 010
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 12/09/2025All at once. If things can change quickly and drastically for the worse they can change equally quickly for the better. We need rapid structural adjustment with no regard for the feelings of the right. 030
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 12/09/2025Honestly custom built PCs are nearly worthless as well. You'll get some money for the GPU and that's probably it. No one will buy a complete system unless it has a brand logo on it, and parting it out is only a good deal if you stole it.youstole.it 2150
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 10/09/2025Medium format film is so high resolution! Right is 150% crop, you can read the writing on the tire when its not so compressed. This was shot on Foma 200, far from the finest-grain film available, scanned ~4000x4000 with a DSLR. I've heard MF film can be 80MP+ #photography #film 0140
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 09/09/2025I'm still using the F mount, so there used to be hundreds of fantastic old lenses for practically nothing from Japan. Now they're either gone or 2-3x the price. Same with old film bodies, or other manufacturers like Pentax used to be a dime a dozen, now they're skyrocketing in price. 120
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 09/09/2025There were so many fun old lenses and cameras I wanted to try but kept putting off buying. They used to be cheap and all over ebay, now I worry I might never access them. Luckily I have everything I NEED, but I'm also terrified my old gear will break and there wont be any cheap replacement parts 230
Freda Foto @skyatt.bsky.social · 09/09/2025Honestly I'm on his side for this. The owners get away with all kinds of shitty, shady deals. Demand whatever you want Kawhi 120
