Guacamelee! Looked like a basic beat um up but not being afraid to cheese up the mexican vibes and aware it was a videogame, I enjoyed the story. Fighting moves became essential for platforming and enemies got resistant to certain moves. I had way more fun than I expected. Couch co-op too.

Mad Max was another I thought was going to be some rushed game to coincide with Fury Road like Spider-Man. To my surprise it was a fun open world game in a post apocalyptic world, survival mechanics that didn't intrude on the gameplay, Arkham combat with a less refined brawler style. Much enjoyment.

I was regretting this game for about 8 hours but once I finally beat Father Gas-Coin it clicked. Great style, engaging gameplay. Bloodborne is on my list of games I want to go back and NG+

I did Sleeping Dogs before on an old account so I didn't get the best screenshots here. It was a solid sequel to the True Crime games, didn't break ground but handled itself... and you know I was rocking that watch throughout the whole game, love to Jackie.

Death Stranding can only be described as a Kojima game, the release and topics suspiciously aligned to a global pandemic. This is possibly 1 of the best games Ive ever played but if you said it was a boring as hell walking simulator that made no sense... Im not sure I could disagree with you either.
