minding all of the docs and Python, you've
somehow touched basically all of the upstream
HDL, which already had MSU1 support, so idk
what in the world you're doing.
This kind of behavior is not acceptable. You are
infringing on the time and brainpower of people
by pushing "your" content that little/no of your
brainpower went into; completely unrequested.
I hope for the sake of all responsible
maintainers that you do not do such a thing
again.
Again, I think it's cool that you and your LLM
supposedly got this to work. It has no place in
my world.

It's extremely disappointing. It has infected everything from translations, decomps, MisTer cores, emulators, pokemon rom hacks, etc. Can't even trust the community around my interests now because they decided they wanted holes in the brain.

Every IP collabing with every other IP nowadays really just devalued everything. The collabs don't even make any sense anymore. Sure, put 2B in one of the worst horror games ever made that neither fits the style or themes of Nier. Everything just became the equivalent of themed breakfast cereals.

I'm boomer and Gen 5 is my favorite also. I've only played the Legends games after that, but you can tell GameFreak knows how to make the games fun and the design is solid, it's just everything else that brings the games down (bugs, performance, graphics etc)

Some types of games I feel I no longer have the patience. I started playing Shadow of Mordor, and it made me realise I'm so over that type of game. Those RPG-lite games of that era. Big map that serves to house random collectables or challenges so you can eventually unlock your entire kit.

If new translations or Decomp projects don't make a point of detailing their process and being anti-ai out of the gate, there's a good chance it's slop. This keeps happening over and over and over. It is disappointment 90% of the time.

I've tried to use MAME multiple times. It always seems like such a headache having to find specific romsets for your specific build. It's even given me errors about missing files when the files are there. And I can't cherry pick like I can with other emulators. It's so frustrating to me.

Sony, and others like them, still think the multi-million Triple A game is going to save them. Remove the physical releases and only give customers access to the $100 "full" game on their digital walled garden. A walled garden you need to pay at least 1k to gain entry to.
