did a US dialect quiz for fun to see where it would put me as an aussie and this question came at me like a sucker punch.i refuse to believe this is an actual phenomenon

28. Silent Hill 2 (2001) replayed this one on stream (links on my profile page teehee) and its still peak. hard mode was surprisingly brutal, mostly for filling every area with so many enemies. also very much enjoyed reading the original Japanese dialogue in the subtitles for the cutscenes

27. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean also quite good, but also carried almost entirely by tiana camacho's rendition of ermes costello. like, god DAMN she goes fucking ham. rly elevated the limp bizkit fight to one of my faves in the part

26. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Vento Aureo yeah its pretty good. the lil bits of bilingual dialogue is a nice touch but its so fucking hard to not flinch every time i hear ray chase do his damnedest to make "ZIPPER MAN!!!" sound cool

thats bullshit, but i believe it. also we are never getting that purple haze feedback ova im going to fucking cry

25. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable its serviceable. matt mercer being forced to do his mcree voice is less annoying here, although that might be because everybody keeps mispronouncing josuke's surname. which is a personal affront to me and i know it's on purpose

*sigh*...i wish i was rich enough to finance a dub with gianni matragrano and funnywes. their impressions of rohan and josuke are mint

24. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders its such a bad dub. i love part 3 but why is it this bad. who directed the VAs. why can't i watch one dub that doesn't make me dislike kyle hebert. why couldn't they let avdol have his accent they gave the fucking DOG A NEW YORK ACCENT I CAN'T FUCKIN

23. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood/Battle Tendency in retrospect maybe the dub being as good as it is was only setting up future instalments for failure. still, i cant help but have fun every time i go back to the beginning... hey why does the chinese character look like that-

21. The Wall (1982) the movie so nice they made it twice. honestly a very good and emotional punchy experience. so much to go thru, so much to see, altho naturally i was shaking my head the whole time to show everyone that i disapproved of roger waters' skinhead lynch mob

how can you have any CUM if you havent had ur DICK

20. Total Recall (1990) thank u paul verhoeven for another batshit insane romp, full of weird sensual tension in (in) appropriate moments and every character chewing the scenery like they were starving to death. two weeks!

Skittybot! @skittybotlive.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

19. In Bruges (2009) god i love this film. it's so good seeing actors like Colin Pharrell and Ralph Fiennes shine in films and roles like these. would be nice if they could be in stuff that wasn't absolute kaka dogshit

“did I ask you to be his psychiatrist? no. I asked you to fucking kill him"

18. The Godfather: Coda (1990) I almost thought this wasn't a Coppola film. very different in so many ways to the rest of the trilogy. still a great watch, can't believe it took 3 of these movies for us to reach an incest subplot

100

Skittybot! @skittybotlive.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

17. The Godfather Part II (1974) honestly not quite as good as the first, but still a good continuation of Michael Corleone's descent into isolation, even as he tries to claw his way back to "normalcy". still don't get why they cast Danny DeVito as young Vito Corleone

16. The Godfather (1972) every time I see this movie, I enjoy it soso much. its just wonderful. absolute classic. love the mets

15. Nisemonogatari / 偽物語 rough start but pulls it together in the end. writing is still fantastic despite pacing issues and the continued existence of the araragi clan. do not watch this anime

if i hear it being pronounced "nice monogatari" one more time im going to put on the greatest talent show this town has ever seen

Skittybot! @skittybotlive.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

13. The Humanist / 휴머니스트 this film is the reason why i have a spreadsheet named "is this movie kino or poopoo". rest assured, this movie is kino. although there is poopoo in it (mentally challenged guy drinks poop water after being told its a holistic treatment)

100

Skittybot! @skittybotlive.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

12. Kizumonogatari / 傷物語 fantastic series of longer episodes that go further into why Araragi Koyomi is the spawn of satan and his existence makes not just the world but also the existence of everyone and everything around him objectively and indescribably worse. i urge you not to watch this anime

BEATING HIM TO DEATH WITH A STICK WOULD BE A KINDNESS. I WANT HIM BOILED IN OIL

11. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 we waited 3 days to play this while it was patching. why the fuck does activision blizzard still make money

"western game dev has been here."
"How can you tell?"

10. Bakemonogatari / 化物語 great OPs (even the one that made me physically ill to watch) combined with fun wordplay and cinematography that combine to tell the story of one of the worst anime protagonists of all time. honestly very good; do not watch this anime if you can help it

ARARAGI KOYOMI IS A RABID DOG HE SHOULD BE BEATEN TO DEATH WITH A STICK

9. Sharkansas: Women's Prison Massacre It's honestly impressive they managed to make lesbian criminals fight land sharks as miserable an experience as they did. -1/5 still not the worst thing I've seen this year

7. Sinners (2025) see the thing is that it rly is very good. less than stellar action sequence notwithstanding, what else can i say but...it's peak. and i love the blues

6. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1969) It was fine. A little full of itself, but good music and imagination.

4. Together (2025) fucking why did i watch this while eating dinner a cool and gross body horror experience. great visual effects and sound design, although the pacing does slow to a crawl in places and im not huge on the implications of the ending (minus ofc transgender superstar alison franco)

3. The Iron Giant (1999) A movie I definitely would've enjoyed more if I'd seen it as a kid. still fun and well animated, and defs a recommend if u have kids or are a kids

2. Signalis (2022) god this game is so gooooood! literally oozing with atmosphere. i love the design and the feel, and very funny to play this after Mouthwashing to feel a similar kind of "pixel-art capitalism dread" something. i need more fanart of MYNH, i need a plushie of it, i need to have it i

1. Girls Band Cry / ガールズバンドクライ yeag those girls sure do band and cry enjoyed this thoroughly, especially for its fun music, good 3D animation and realistic depictions of an unreliable narrator riddled with BPD and an ego problem. pacing felt a bit slow at times, but i enjoyed it all the way thru

100

Skittybot! @skittybotlive.bsky.social · 12/03/2026

i am still floored by how I never heard a peep about Mynah from Signalis until after I had finally played it. What the fuck do you mean the big soft and shy mecha girl who canonically owns plushies is not interesting to the fandom??
