I headed up to Durango last weekend to ride the Durango & Silverton Train with @swphotographer.bsky.social . We were so lucky to have amazing weather with very blue skies! My favorite part was seeing the turquoise color of the Animas River. #MountainMonday #BlueSkyMonday #CO #Train #Fall #FallColors

This is a photograph of the Durango and Silverton train as it winds through the San Juan Mountains. The orange train cars are seen winding along the track next to a teal river. There is a very big mountain peak in the distance with smaller mountains close by. The mountains near the viewer are green from pine trees as well as an orange-yellow from the leaves changing on other trees. The engine of the train can't be seen, but steam from the engine is visible.

I'm sad to see summer draw to a close, but I also can't wait to pull out the mulled cider for fall. I know my cats will be particularly sad to see the season go. Their favorite summer pastime: watching birds out of the windows all day. 🐈🐦 #BlueSkyArtShow #Summer #Caturday #CatsofBluesky
