It hasn't even been a week into the Warner Bros and Paramount merger and there's already been a gigaleak of Cartoon Network material. Is this what's called poetic justice?

Happy Birthday, Sapphy! Hope you have a fresh day.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

It's amazing how your plans for the day can get derailed by cleaning one thing and letting it snowball into cleaning the entire room.

Spent the last few days doing body work on my car. Really proud I was able to do it myself rather than getting someone else to do it.

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

There was some good stuff mixed in, but I would say this Direct was kinda mid at best. Metroid Ravenous and Kirby and the World Beyond were definitely the highlights.

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

The Ocarina of Time remake's art style is very hit or miss for me. Environments look gorgeous, but some of the characters look jarring compared to others.

My main goal before Pokémon Bank shuts down besides transferring over everything important over to Home is to complete the National Dex in Pokémon Y. It'll be the first time I've completed it in any Pokémon game and I'm close in that one.

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Why is she called Twinkle Girl instead of Twinkle Woman?

100

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

I can't get over how adorable your mechanic is.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

The odds of me getting the upgrade pack for Xenoblade 2 would significantly increase if they bring back "Think you can take me?" and "Don't forget me!"

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

The scrolling stars are a nice touch. You always draw her so well.

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

This might be the last time we'll see any of the Splatoon 3 hubs decorated for a non-seasonal Splatfest so make sure to take in the scenery.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

Game Freak's design philosophy on mega evolutions and their abilities is a spectrum. On one end you have a completely meta-defining beast with Mega Staraptor, and on the other you have Mega Malamar.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

Honestly that was a subpar Direct. There were things I liked, but most of it was games we've known about for a while, ports, and just stuff that didn't interest me.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

Despite most of the major games being leaked weeks beforehand, this Direct still managed to surprise me with some of the reveals.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

I'll be honest nothing shown off this past weekend interests me besides Rayman, Cuphead, and Spyro. Hoping that changes with the Nintendo Direct tomorrow.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

One of my favorite theme songs ever. Definitely not bad to get stuck with.

010

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

I actually sat down to watch this State of Play. It's the first time I've watched one live believe it or not, and now I know why I never do.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

That's not even mentioning the realistic art style they went with. I know it's suppose to be a homage to the classic puppets, but still...eww.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

I've given it a week, and I still don't understand why this new Star Fox game needs to exist. Why remake Star Fox 64 again when you can play the original on the Switch 2 already?

210

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 06/05/2026

Now I understand why Miyamoto waited until the last minute to announce the Star Fox Direct.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 21/04/2026

Oh I’m not gonna be able to play Splatoon Raiders when it comes out.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

Overall I still had a great time while I admit it's fundamentally not a good movie. It does have it's moments and it's eye candy for Nintendo fans like me.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

There's stuff the movie does right. The character arc between Bowser and Bowser Jr. was great and it's nice Luigi got more to do in this movie. I also had a fun time seeing all the references and characters from the Mario franchise and beyond just like the first movie.

100

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

It does have some glaring issues. The pacing is somehow worse than the first movie and it doesn't help a lot of that was fluff. The plot is shallow and there's an imbalance of character focus throughout.

100

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

Got home from my trip to see the Mario Galaxy Movie. It was an enjoyable watch just like the first movie even if it's not a good movie overall. Thankfully I went in knowing it wasn't gonna be some masterpiece.

100

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 12/04/2026

Three years ago, I went to see the first Mario movie for my birthday. Today, I continue that tradition by going to see the sequel.

100

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

Not sure when I'll be able to see The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, but I know it won't be tomorrow. So I'll be taking a break from social media until then.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 26/03/2026

I thought we were past the era where studios revealed every card in their movies' hand before they released.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 17/03/2026

Thank you for blessing my timeline with this.

001

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 10/03/2026

I'd be remiss if I didn't wish everyone a Happy MAR10 Day.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 09/03/2026

With so many legacy characters appearing in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie I have to ask, why no Toadsworth?

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 27/02/2026

Am I crazy, or does Pokémon Winds and Waves look...good? The graphics are nice, I like the new art style, and the game looks to be running fine even if it's still 30fps.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 21/02/2026

My biggest questions for the FireRed and LeafGreen rerelease are will they fix the bugs like the Roaming Roar glitch and will they fix up Altering Cave so it does what it was meant to do?

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 05/02/2026

Do people really want a definitive edition of Xenoblade 2 over a Switch 2 edition/upgrade? Personally I'd rather not spend $70-$100 for a game I already have and can play on the Switch 2 already.

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 01/02/2026

I've been slowly getting back into drawing for the past month. I don't have anything to post at the moment, but it feels good to pick up the pen and tablet again.

010

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 17/01/2026

This has been quite a week for fans of Nintendo and Lego.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 12/01/2026

I've known this for a while, but today really cemented the fact Lego (much like Pokémon funnily enough) is really capitalizing on nostalgia to sell us these expensive sets.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 12/01/2026

This set looks so good, but that price tag…

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 01/01/2026

Happy New Year, people!

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 26/12/2025

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas (or whatever you celebrate) and were able to celebrate it the way you wanted.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 19/12/2025

This isn't an announcement for a grand return, but more of a declaration to change. I don't know how long it'll take, but I want to get to a better place than I am now. All I ask is for you guys to be patient with me for a little while longer.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 19/12/2025

I have drawn a few things in the past few months, but they've lain unfinished on my hard drive due to the issues above. I really frustrated that I've got to this point because I still love drawing and I want to keep doing it.

100

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 19/12/2025

Not only that, but my drive and motivation to draw had hit an all-time low thanks to a combination of fighting a losing battle with the algorithms, not having enough time or energy in a normal day, and my overall anxiety.

100

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 19/12/2025

Hey, everyone. It's been a while since I posted anything on here let alone art. Just letting you know I'm still alive. Just haven't had anything interesting or engaging to say for the last how many days it's been.

100

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 16/11/2025

After playing the Kirby Air Riders: Global Test Ride for the past few weekends, I can safely say this game's not for me.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 12/11/2025

The original title of the movie was "The Super Mario Galaxy + Odyssey + Wonder Movie", but they had to cut it down for marketing purposes.

010

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 30/10/2025

One of the first thing I'm gonna do is devote a room in my house to all the new Lego furniture.

000

Skidaro @skidaro.bsky.social · 30/10/2025

The New Horizons update's a nice surprise and the QoL upgrades look nice enough to get me to go back to my island for a while. It's definitely not enough for me to get the Switch 2 upgrade.
