The problem is that to do the right thing, you have to get them all. All the conspirators in government, all the judges and bureaucrats installed by the seditionists, you’d have to root it all out. They didn’t do that any more than we did. Germany was forced to do it; only bought them ~80 years.

Moved into an (no idea how) old house near boston. First noticed paper plugging the upstairs bathroom keyhole. Then marks from hook&eyelet locks on all the upstairs doors. On the outside. Looking closer, several doorframes had evidence of more substantial locks having been forced off said doors.

Just seems like everything was once a "the evil authoritarians did this to establish dominance" (whether real or fictitious). E.g. we've all accepted surveillance by our phones/comps/tvs and now we have a history re-writing scheme that is literally destroying hard copies. Not great.

I don't know if this is satire or not, but when mine went I was on an HMO that required PCP approval for any procedure. Sat in the ER for 8hrs until it ruptured and I had to have an emergency cleanout. Turns out Dr. was playing golf w his pager off. Meant I got to pay for most of it; it took years.

I met some ppl at the park with a dog who looked permanently broken by a laser. Constantly twitching and looking around frantically. They said they played with a laser for a week and now their (setter, prone to fixation) pup is obsessively looking for the dot all the time.
