The way he acted towards Trump after acknowledging in plain terms how unsuitable the man is to hold office shows how little his claimed moral principles mattered to him. For these reasons, the world is better off without Lindsey Graham. I won't mourn him, but I wish his family my best. /3

But those moments of decency were buried beneath what he would do to obtain power. He was willing to be vile towards and hurt good people in order to elevate himself. Even beyond his support for harmful policies, his actions show his personal moral failings. 2/

As a parent of two small children, any parent who chooses not to vaccinate because of a non-medical reason is dangerously negligent. Measles, whooping cough, COVID, chickenpox, hepatitis, and all the other diseases covered by childhood vaccinations can maim, kill, or lead to lifelong illness.

Now, every shipment of sold goods from China, even small parcels sold to an individual, must include full customs paperwork and payment for tariffs. Yes, this is going to slow down everything. Shipments will eventually resume, but when they do, it'll be more expensive and slower.

Some perspective from a mail carrier. Yes, that's my day job. There's been a thing called a de minimis exemption for customs duties. Any shipment worth less than $800 qualifies. The latest round of tariffs from the Mango Mussolini killed that exemption. That's almost certainly the cause.
