I think Nu Udra is one of the most interesting and fun designs in monster hunter, it's almost a 10/10 I just wish it was a little more intelligent with its surroundings in its fight. Imagine if that fucker could grab boulders or unstable ground and use them against you... It'd be peak

The more I go through this series the more I love every game I play. They're all so different and amazing in such different ways, and I can't wait to hunt in places I've yet to see in the other old gen games I've yet to go through.

MH1 is amazing in vibe. Currently playing through LR, but I have loved every second that I've touched. I love having to gather stuff all the time, I love the mysterious and pretty environments, and the sound design is so pleasant!! Sure it's old and clunky, but I love old and clunky!

I haven't finished GU in full, I've only done LR and HR, but from what I have played it's a blast. Part of me much prefers the slower pace of world and old gen games, and I prefer the art direction they put into some of the old locals. The monsters are great but still have that old-gen cheese.

(3/4) The game's story is the strongest so far, and that's awesome! Yet the constant dialogue of characters giving you tips on how to defeat a monster and easily my least favorite UI in the series just because of how loud it is make playing the game a bit of a hassle if that makes sense.

(2/4) we've had so far. Focus mode makes you worry about your positioning slightly less, but the mobility of each monster still forces you to maintain a decent position or else you'll whiff or snag a bad hitzone. The roster is diverse but still a little lacking in some monster types I feel.

(1/4) Wilds has my feather ruffled up -- on one hand it has the best ecology, excellent fights, two of my favorite monsters in the series... but there's something missing that I hope the expansion will bring. Yes the early game is easy, but the end of HR is without a doubt the hardest base game --

Rise is unfortunately less focused on ecology compared to World and Wilds, but makes up for it in unique gameplay and hilariously corny dialogue. It also has some highlight fights like Chameleos, the Malzenos, and afflicted monsters.

World is my first game, and sure I have problems with its lack of animal diversity, but it easily has some of my favorite fights and monsters in the series (so far). Anjanath, Brute Tigrex, Fatalis, Deviljho, Alatreon, Stygian Zinogre, etc etc. 10/10 gameplay and music of course.
