as much as i love the Jim lee costume, it's gotta go to the X-Factor blue and white costume with the full cowl nothing beats it!!

as far as Ghost Riders go, Robbie's original look from All-New is unbeatable to me but ALSO... Alejandra's rider look is pretty fuckin cool with the asymmetrical armor look I love asymmetrical designs (also Monica's classic costume is perfection to me)

Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider from an alt cover of All-New Ghost Rider

Alejandra Jones Ghost Rider being. so fucking cool

hard to go wrong with the Commander but his classic helmet look is tough to beat ALTHOUUUGGGHH Old Snake is an elite alt outfit and now that I think about it i really like his look in Renegades. I should rewatch Renegades.

classic helmet CC, in his daft cape from the 86 movie (perfection)

Evil-Lyn is always gorgeous and perfect but Meg Foster's portrayal from the 80s movie is so peak it's honestly not fair honorable mention to her look from the cg netflix cartoon bc its rad as fuck

g1 Optimus is functionally perfect and I dont say that lightly that said, the best toy look of him is the Powermaster (especially the reissue with the apex armour) for designs that arent iterating directly on the original, its gotta go to RID and (to a lesser extent) Armada im a Super Mode Truther

g1 cartoon optimus, seen here partaking in his favourite pastime, shooting hoops with the boys

hard to beat anything directly based on her original outfit, ESPECIALLY if she's drawn with a loose fitting turtleneck THAT SAID her original look from the first movie is an all-timer, and im also a big fan of her outfit from her 2024 miniseries

modern depiction of mystique based on her classic costume with a looser fitting neck
