I've got to retweet my past work more often. As an engineer I just assume everyone has perfect awareness of my back catalog but that simply isn't true.

Regular fighting games invent their cast whole-cloth in the same way Araki has invented his with JoJo! There's nothing stopping them from designing asinine shit!

My favorite cinematic super in any game is Josuke in All-Star Battle, who heals his opponent to full before doing damage. More supers need to think outside the box like that.

There's way too much game in this game for me to ever enjoy it, I think. If it was just Dota 3 that would be fine, but I do not have the patience for constantly performing movement tech in 3D space. Shooters are like a bottom-3 genre.

@grae.software hey, tangential question to the work you've been doing: what OSes is Tascots slated to be published for? I've been struggling to figure out a true transparent background trick for Linux and was wondering if you had any insight.

That's really fascinating. I'm a Mint user also (because of course). I'd be really interested to run each file through a diff and see if anything at all is actually different.

Well, that definitely suggests that it's NOT the same codec under the hood, ahaha.

Tom Farro 💀🤌 Skeletom @skeletom.net · 27/09/2026

That's bizarre. I honestly am not sure, since I'd assume it's the same codec under the hood no matter what.
