Having recently read through all of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books, I am now painfully aware of why they never adapted anything past the first book...

There's nothing worse then an adult's Halloween party. They will always act like it's going to be a fun costume party yet it always turns out to be a bunch of old fogies standing around drinking with no decorations, movies, atmosphere, etc. with two people that dressed up feeling foolish.

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

They will hate me for I speak the truth.

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Sometimes I just see a design that makes me unreasonably happy -- this is one of them.

040

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

What's odd is that it's a case where it feels unplaytested. This really only happens with some of the bosses and technically they're not hard to beat, but they either load the screen with projectiles or have perfect aim on you turning an otherwise easy fight into an endurance test.

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Pac-Man World 2 is fun, but I'm not exactly sure who on the Namco development team thought that it's remake needed random, inexplicable spikes of bone crushing difficulty.

230

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

It's not even so much the difficulty. I don't mind a difficult game, it's just that they need to be actually fun on top of it! You know you're fucked when the speed runners of these games are clenching their anuses the entire time they run it!

100

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

I want to like these games so much, but I simply cannot and it pains me.

This character design is so damn fun. I need to draw them sometime for Halloween

010

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

I will never forgive Microsoft for fumbling this series.

020

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Persona 5. I checked it out because of Joker's inclusion in Smash Ultimate and regretted ever second of it. It took 2 hours to do anything meaningful and once I finally beat up a pedophile I had to go get ramen with my friend before turning him into the police. That's all I have to say.

020

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

This was how the character of Sue looked in the 80's Pac-Man cartoon.

110

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

I recently read Terry Pratchett's The Colour of Magic. This was my take away from it. Tell me I'm wrong.

010

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

it's not even that they're bad, they're just overdone and generally look the same.

110

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

It definitely paid off and thanks! Glad you like it!

110

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

That's fun! I always commend using unconventional/uncommon Pokemon for characters. Anyone can make an Eeveeloution. No one goes for Golbat! I'd definitely be interested in how you depicted those other Pokemon.

110

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

I've rarely seen Golbat characters, and what few I have didn't look like this. Really fun way of showing a seldom used Pokemon.

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Hey, Arnold! is just white Fat Albert. They will hate me, for I speak the truth...

110

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

There's something truly ironic about the fact that the character that was supposed to be a relic lost to time who couldn't cope with the fact that she's no longer desirable is infinitely more remembered than the other more modern, conventionally attractive women from that series.

120

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Commission for @toonskunkpuddin.bsky.social Did you know that Heavy Balls not only work better on heavy Pokemon, but they also make thin Pokemon heavier? Trust me, I have a relative who works for Nintendo! #DecoyTheSkeletalBoy #Pokemon #Gardevoir #HeavyBall #SSBBW #WeightGain

I know this is an opinion I will inevitably be crucified for, but the green ranger becoming the white ranger was one of the biggest visual downgrades of all time.

100

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 20/05/2026

I hate how immediately this fixed all of my visual issues with Link in the Breath of the Wild...

...I was today-years-old when I learned that the Smurfs are Belgian, not French.

110

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

Banjo-Tooie is awful by basic standards. It's the box art equivalent of an awkward family photo, but when compared to the dynamic banger that was it's predecessor it REALLY stinks.

100

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

Banjo-Kazooie is easily one of my favorite box arts of all time...so imagine my surprise when today, at 37-years-old I finally realize there was a hidden N64 logo in plain sight on something I've looked at a million times.

Recently watched Punch Punch Forever and I am of the firm opinion that it is everything OK K.O. desperately wished it was.

130

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

Nova is literally the colors of the trans flag and Pac-Man has a costume of the exact same colors in said game. Trans character/ally confirmed!

131

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

Namco set a precedent in Pac-Man World Re-Pac that only male Pac-People have black eyes and noses. Meaning Nova and Clie who were made AFTER this decision are in fact trans Pac-People (or at the very least cross dressers)

231

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

Good to know degenerates existed even back then

120

SkeletalBoyDecoy @skeletalboydecoy.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

I was today-years-old when I learned that modern depictions of Pac-Man lend themself to the 1982 Hanna-Barbera cartoon. Him living in Pac-Land with his wife, kids and dog with other Pac-People (even his little red hat in Pac-Land) ALL come from that show and I don't what to do with this information.

Finally, I know what that Macroverse was all about...frankly I'm not impressed. It's filled with a lot of sweaty nerds that keep speaking in a weird language. Do you know what a 'yaoi' is?
