#PoppyPlaytober2026 Day 9 - Safe Haven There's at least place within this hell that the toys of Playtime can feel like home. A safe haven, even. Though they still starve and are in pain, at least it's a place of comfort. #PoppyPlaytober #PoppyPlaytime #Playtober #ArtPrompt

#PoppyPlaytober2026 Day 8 - The Shelf A place that held all of the experiments and far away from their friends. These things were once human, they were once kids, hoping for a new home. I guess this is their new home now. #PoppyPlaytober #PoppyPlaytime #Playtober #ArtPrompt

The algorithm doesn't want you calm, informed, or connected. It wants you angry, addicted, and isolated. Because that's what lines the pockets of folks like Musk and Zuckerberg.

#PoppyPlaytober2026 Day 7 - Playcare There's something lurking the depths of Playcare. But as we enter Home Sweet Home, a thick red fog that smelled like lavender wafts throughout. Was this place bigger than we went in? #PoppyPlaytober #PoppyPlaytime #Playtober #ArtPrompt

Inspire and encourage others to stand up and fight. That's what we need more than anything now. Raise each other into action. Keep up hope. Do something about it, no matter if the action is small. We do this as a collective, we can beat back fascism. It's not easy at all, but it's possible.

I don't know about y'all, but I've had enough of the endless doomerism surrounding the current state of the US. Post after post bemoans every shitty thing that happens, and while it's our right to post whatever, spreading hopelessness doesn't help. It makes things worse.

Gonna finish up the Banban redesigns with just the remaining few mascots I have lined up. Want to wrap up this stretch before too long. Afterwards I'll be back with original animation / character work. See you then! 🫡

I was going to do most of the scene, but this is as far as I got before I had to stop. Out of nowhere, the game save started lagging to the point of being unplayable every time I opened it. Nevertheless, I'm glad I was able to salvage this bit.

Repost of a little animation I did a loooong while back. Just felt like sharing it again. It's a bit from that scene from Rango where he meets the Spirit of the West. 🤠 (Why Pomni? Was practicing with her for a different project at the time) #TADC #GarrysMod #animation #theamazingdigitalcircus

My design for Tarta for my alternate Banban mock trailer thingy. Out of all the designs I've drawn thus far, I feel Tarta's dark variant is one of my favorites. 😊

A project I'm chipping away at is a mock trailer for an alternate story to Garten of Banban. Despite my mixed feelings about the series itself, I found myself inspired to put my own spin on it. Note that this isn't out of contempt for the original work. It's just for fun and experience.

My character designing has fallen slightly behind schedule, so the first group of renders will be out tomorrow if not later today. The goal is to finish all of them (12 in total) by the first week of October at the latest. Gonna try my best and meet that 😤

While I'm deciding on a shorter term project to add to the channel, I have a kinda longer-term one that's coming along well. Currently doing character design work for it. I'll drop the finished drawings in groups as I go. Stay tuned!

Reminds me of when parents took their kids to see Sausage Party assuming that it was a kid's movie (y'know, cause it was animated). Keep clutching those pearls, dimwits.

I know what the next Exit episode is gonna be: that comparison I made a long while back between Spooky's intro in Pac-Man World 2 and its remake. I actually find it to be a fun miniature study in storytelling. Might try to make Exit more animated this time, too. We'll see!

SkeleGhost @skeleghostanim.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

One of my next videos is gonna be a compilation of Bouncing Ball exercises! Might not sound like the most exciting of vids, but the main point of this channel is to chronicle my journey as an animator. So for those of you interested in seeing the building blocks of the craft, I got you!

SkeleGhost @skeleghostanim.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

I've found that while working on a project, getting stuck can mean something's not working. In such moments, taking a step back to explore other ideas is key, and it's okay if it takes a few tries to find a better one. Being glued to the first idea just stifles the process.

SkeleGhost @skeleghostanim.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

I appreciate those of you who have turned up at the new channel and have been enjoying what I've made thus far. I'm confident in continuing this journey to becoming a better animator, in spite of the challenges I face. 😌

SkeleGhost @skeleghostanim.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

With Exit's fresh debut done, I now have a small original animation in the works. I'll be practicing my 12 Principles (a video of which I'll share) before delving deeper into the project, but I at least have the outline finished and ideas for how it'll play out visually.

Also I left what was supposed to be a pinned comment, but YT apparently now requires you to either build up channel history before you can do that (which I selected), or upload your ID. Fuck the latter.

I just started reading 1984, the first time I've picked up a book in longer than I care to admit. I'd all but forgotten the feeling of falling into the world on a books pages. It's nothing short of wonderful 📖
