I'm pretty sure I've seen it before (maybe with the rat bard?) but the way you draw Milligan's mouth in the next-to-last panel hard-locks my brain into old timey "rubber hose" cartoon mode in the best way. Like I immediately hear a scratchy, century old playback of a falsetto voice warbling "OOooh!"

That show's on my radar too! Highly recommend seeing them (Hanabie, I mean) live. I saw them open for Jinjer a while back and they go HARD. They're even heavier in person. I only caught the last song of a Nekrogoblikon set once thanks to traffic, but everyone there was pretty hyped.

Semi-related note: when I drive past the street named Brockway near me, I think about stealing the sign and mailing it to you since that seems like the Brockway thing to do but I'd rather not have to explain that to the cops.
