I'm working but I could like... Take a break. 😁 SteelcitySteph and ReversalWizrd are great options though! ♥️

Have you ever wondered what it's like to get a game in with me? I didn't think so... but if you like seeing an old guy get picked on, I'll be a guest on some upcoming streams. Friday & Saturday night this week, and Thursday in a couple weeks. I'll post reminders the day the streams are happening.

I used to buy boxes per set over a decade ago. Then I was satisfied with pre-release and a bundle per set. I can't afford any of it at this point, let alone for every set. I recommend Pauper to people because it's affordable, it's easy to learn, and it's got a lot of variety.

That's the Inkshield you were telling me about! It looks fantastic.

The last few Secret Lair drops with good staples are so girly-pop... and I'm here for it. She-Ra? Kpop? Friggin' lit drops. My wallet is taking a beating. youtube.com/shorts/O2jpJ...

Both things can be true. He can be a degenerate amalgamation of greed and angst that is super cool and has lots of style. I prefer to live in that universe. 🤣

I leave this with you with the only context of: I 💯 assure you, it is Magic the Gathering related.

Have you tried Orange Crush Zero Sugar? It has no business being that good.

SkaJohnny @skajohnny.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Stick an eldrazi in it, likely.

Thanks! I checked the event and it's proxy friendly. I've updated the list with the changes. I almost couldn't find my Mox Diamond or Transmute Artifact proxies. PANIC! Hahaha.

SkaJohnny @skajohnny.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Here's the list I've got currently (all real cards). I have to check if they allow proxies. If they do, I'll likely make some changes (+Mox Diamond, +Transmute Artifact) moxfield.com/decks/M943Tq...

There's a cEDH tournament on Saturday. I'm going to take Kinnan for it's first spin. Do you all want updates?

SkaJohnny @skajohnny.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Love it. Word play is the best.

SkaJohnny @skajohnny.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Is it just like 60 "Ginger"brutes? 🤣 I'll show myself out.

What if like... I just want to watch your stream? My bones don't creak, but apparently my eye explodes without telling me.

Don't be sorry for your feelings. I hope venting helped. 🙂

I legit sent a pic of the Soda to some discord friends this morning. How come you don't have the KD Ramen?

I'd love to record a game with you! Pauper Hot Dogs anyone?

000

SkaJohnny @skajohnny.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I would play against that deck! I understand Banding better than I do Mutate. Why do I suddenly have a headache? 🤯

100

SkaJohnny @skajohnny.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I hope so? But it's hard to say. 2 slots doesn't mean much because it also depends on set size, rarity distribution, etc. God packs driving pack purchases should help too. They need to stop putting them in Premium/Alternate products. *glares at Utrom Monitor*

SkaJohnny @skajohnny.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

In a lot of cases, since CBs have risen in popularity, I have found it easier to find foils than nonfoils. Which sucks from a competitive perspective because a lot of older pauper staples are impossible to find in foil. (Vis-a-vis Wanting them to match to avoid deck manipulation claims)
