Came across what felt like product placement for Cherry Dr Pepper Zero in Jordan Harper’s (great) A Violent Masterpiece. Has anyone else come across a reference in a book that felt like product placement? If so what was it?

I'm looking to talk on background or off the record to a book publicist for a short blog that I am writing about product placement in literature and if it is even happening.
