Lewis @siwelthelongboi.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Almost 6 years ago to the day I was on a zoom call where one guy called Joe changed his screen name to the surname of the other Joe on the call AND I JUST GOT BAITED BY IT while trying to assign face identification on old photos 000
Lewis @siwelthelongboi.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I'm currently investigating options for moving the family photos off Google because they're harassing us for hundreds of pounds over 50GB of images, when we've got hundreds to spare on our own hardware. 010
Lewis @siwelthelongboi.bsky.social · 05/10/2026With hindsight, I realise both of them were not great fits for me, and it'd probably have gone pretty poorly if I'd taken that route. 000
Lewis @siwelthelongboi.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Going through my google photos to try and clear out images means I have rediscovered the photo evidence of both times I fumbled a girl (and by extension, the only times I ever got close to having a gf) 100
Lewis @siwelthelongboi.bsky.social · 05/10/2026> User posts on r/firefox that the new update is using all their RAM > Others ask questions > Turned out they were using an extension that loaded 7GB of LLM data for spell checking Bruh 000
Reposted by LewisLewis @siwelthelongboi.bsky.social · 04/10/2026In 2019 I bought a pool cue so I could play with a friend at uni without using the bad ones they provided. Today I got invited to come play with a local pool club and I used it again for the first time in at least 6 years. Lost every game but I knew that would happen 021

Lewis @siwelthelongboi.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Loaded something while exploring that has permanently bricked the save. Well in fact the backup mod is what's bricked it. It won't let me load it without loading the backup, and it won't load the backup and instead just does nothing. 000
Lewis @siwelthelongboi.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Twitter is truly a generational example of incompetance: I can't get my 2 accounts unsuspended (AI help desk loop). I can't log into my only unsuspended one. I can't make a new account. I can't verify any account because the phone verification doesn't work. 100

Lewis @siwelthelongboi.bsky.social · 25/09/2026A new minecraft logistics mods has come out and frankly I think it's the end game for logistics mods. It moves more things, more efficiently, with more filtering options, than you could get from any other mod alone. And they called it Logistics Networks. 100
Lewis @siwelthelongboi.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I thought I'd take a look at some minecraft modpacks outside of the ones I usually do. So the pack: Is on 1.7.10 (12y old) Doesn't render certain blocks Lags to hell when I hold my pickaxe (and only that one) Quitting causes my nightlight to crash (changes the screen tint to reduce eyestrain) 000
Lewis @siwelthelongboi.bsky.social · 22/09/2026One of the questions you start to ask when you seriously start thinking about moving more of your data onto a self-hosted platform is worrying about permanent data loss.
