Every day for the past week, the desire to get my first motorcycle has been increasing. I have been looking up multiple bikes, checking out different specs and prices, and I think I found the one I want. Now to find the time for course training and getting a motorcycle license...

I live in Texas, where the Bluesky app has been blocked for almost a month, unless you verify your identity (which im never doing). For whatever reason, the Bluesky website on my desktop has started letting me back on, so thats neat

Happy 4th of July! Here's an unrelated image!

A screenshot from Fire Emblem with a CG of Lyn on a sunset background saying, "I do not love my country. I love the people in it and want their needs met."

this reply has sent me down a 3 day rabbit hole of crazy research and I think I've finally settled on the Ayn Thor. Ayn seems to be the best in the market for what they offer. The Thor being able to play 3ds games and having the protection of a clamshell device is what sealed the deal for me

I played for a day, then I saw the AI lines. Uninstalled quickly after 🫠

As a Destiny fanatic since 2014, id have dropped the game the moment I heard AI was coming to the game.

Im really glad you saw this, I was really contemplating DMing this to you for your knowledgeable opinion. Any suggestions for a not so budget friendly handheld? I dont mind paying more if the value in return is justified (better graphics, faster performance, larger storage, etc)

Brendan @sivatech.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

I need a device that has no internet connection. I dont want to need wifi constantly or risk games I own being removed by an e-shop. I DONT want to hear "oh, my mom's coworker's sons friend bought this and liked it". If you have direct experience with what to buy or what to avoid, id love to hear

Brendan @sivatech.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

🧵 There's a bunch of handheld emulators on the market rn, but i dont know which to buy. Im looking for a "gameboy"-esque device that either comes preloaded with thousands of mainline titles like pokemon, or one with a safe, user friendly website where i can download games to the device...

I actually hope bad things happen to the greedy, self-centered fucks that drove the studio with the most talented group of game devs into the ground. The execs, the investors, the leadership team. Fuck them all for taking Destiny 2 from the world

Destiny didn’t fall short of expectations, LEADERSHIP did. Some of the most out of touch people who only saw the $ & held a beloved franchise to the coals because it didn’t fit their margins. Devs suffocated under the immeasurable weight of their greed. Everyone who has worked there deserves better.
