My last #thebandghost fanart. Perpetua reviving souls. It is, in a way, a twin illustration to ‘The Shepherd of the Damned Souls’, which depicted Copia riding on a festive mound of skeletons. close ups in the next post.

Digital illustration in colour and vertical format, depicting a sea of more or less emaciated bodies, some still lifeless skeletons while others have regained most of their flesh, albeit putrid, and are moving upwards. This entire swarming mass is located at the bottom of the composition and is rendered in shades of grey and dark green, except for the bones, which shine with a brighter green.

There are also swirls of light in the same green colour throughout the scene, which we can assume to be the source of the bodies' reanimation.

All of this is overlooked by a figure floating above, dressed in a black and purple papal robe, richly embroidered and adorned with jewels and metal crucifixes. The mitre is also purple, with jewels and crucifixes made of silver skeletons.
This is Perpetua, recognisable by his face partially hidden by a silver skull mask. He looks down, his arms outstretched from his body, from which emanate the green magical swirls described above. He is therefore the one who revives these bodies.
The sky, which serves as the background for this illustration, is also very dark, blue-purple, turning to a slightly lighter grey towards the horizon.

Inspired by Charles Bargue's painting, The Flute Player. One last little drawing before the end of the year, a sort of holiday break. The angle of the flute is not perfect because I wanted to show a little of his profile. #thebandghost

A square illustration of Cardinal Copia, seen from the side with his back to us, dressed in 18th century red. He wears a black ribbon in his hair and is seated on a black and gold seat without a backrest, playing flute with a music stand in front of him.

The same illustration but without the colours. Shading on an ochre background with a parchment texture, as usual.

We checked every other DVD case we owned. We couldn't find it. My sister and I were the only ones in our room. No one could have taken it. Neither of us moved it. We also never found it.

It took hours for it to come back on so we eventually gave up and went to bed. The next day we decided to finish watching it and turned on the DVD player but it wasn't reading a disk. We opened the DVD player and the Anastasia disk was gone.

Catie🐀 @sisterrat.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Well I bought it on discount. It was in the $5 bin at Walmart so I was like "Score!!" We take it back to our dorm and pop it in the DVD player and start watching it. We get to "Rumor in St. Petersburg" and the power went out.
