Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 10/08/2026love the new show for what it is, but Stand Alone Complex turned me into the Critical Theory loser that I am proud of today. 110

No no, we wont use this as a power grab, don't worry Sam!" 140
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 30/05/2026Oh cool you worked on this Amazon cartoon? Well I saw the coolest fucking animation made by an Elementary School that retells Loki's mythology through puppets and awesome drawings, and I think about that more than any consumable media. 030
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 30/05/2026My only solution to this AI bs is..... make stuff, and find people who make stuff too. Why cant we see things happening around town, small animation festivals and etc, and see what people are doing? Idk, I was never a big popular media animation person to start with. 140
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 30/05/2026I just think we ought to not kid ourselves when we see people who are industry voices for good pull this kinda shit. To me it says that your entire personality online was a show, and your true motives were never about the people working as a whole. Fucking sucks 110
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 30/05/2026Any push for AI, both good and bad, is just marketing. Unfortunate thing is, we can scream and shout about all this, but eventually if one of these Full AI shows or movies gains enough views and traction, then the market will trend towards that. Its an entity that move independent of what we think. 111
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 30/05/2026From the mind that brought you "it's like you have sex, and then someone hands you the baby" comes another banger, "Its whatever, everyone's secretly doing it" I'm not embracing AI for some capital and profits, I can still make fun and cool things with bare min resources. 151
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 29/05/2026I did the economical thing and bought a warm and cool purple instead, still costed 60 bucks 😵💫 010
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 29/05/2026I dont feel envy at all, but I have to admit, seeing this lady buying tons and tons of expensive oil paints that looked like it amounted to a thousand or so dollars of supplies over at Blicks def made me a bit jealous. I spent 10 mins debating with series to get because I needed purple paint 😭 110

Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 11/05/2026Like you got what you wanted, Fantasy Apps everywhere! Make what you want! Stop being annoying!!!!! Rest of us will enjoy in peace and make an opinion about a movie AFTER thinking about it for a few days. 040
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 11/05/2026Shame that the infinite scale of AI gen apps, where the most annoying reddit user with the worst takes on casting choices could easily just generate their fantasy version of the movie, still just complains online. Thought you wanted the future? No no, we must constantly be stuck in a hell cycle. 141
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 05/05/2026"Burning" painting sketch Oil on Stonehenge Paper 8 x 12 inches My first oil painting in a decade. 041
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 04/05/2026and its NOT the fumes lol, something about the prep and process of oils is so different to acrylics and gouache, I just seem to understand it better now than 10 years ago. 020
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 04/05/2026Between projects, every night i've been painting something in oils. and every night I end up losing track to time and stay up pretty late. This feeling of pure focus, I honestly dont know if i ever felt it ever. But its like the most healing feeling ever. 2141
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 03/05/2026The parodies however are great, saw one where they "raid" Palantir and it was incredible. 020
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 03/05/2026the scientology speedrun thing is very interesting, because I think its all just fake. seeing people claiming to do a raid, but are all wearing crypto casino merch, while shouting Christ is King. It's just advertising ran out of ideas, so they stole 2010s flashmobs for sell products and services. 330
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 01/05/2026basically its got that 60s-70s feel, also very Bob Peak. I literally when down a rabbit hole right when i saw your illo! 010
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 30/04/2026i'm almost thinking I might do the hybrid of painting with plastic first, then oil on top, but for now im using it as a way to really understand materials, so the rabbit hole has been nice. 010
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 30/04/2026Oil Painting journey: I truly don't know how to paint is what im realizing. Rather, the level of understanding surface, medium, movement and process is turned up to 11 in oil painting. Excited for this to affect my acrylic and gouache process too. 120
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 29/04/2026started playing with oil paints, and because its such a different medium, i'm having such a hard time with it, but learning basics again. Realizing now there is a gap of art education that I need to relearn. Not a forgiving medium, but really excited to learn again. 040

Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 24/04/2026Oil Painters here, i'm gonna start again, but I wanna limit my solvent use. Any tips or videos or reading? I used to, in my 20s, use a lot of gamsol and alkyds like it was water and I wanna reintroduce myself in a better, safer way to oils. 110
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 20/04/2026But I love to share process and be transparent. Because everyone's handwriting will yeild different and interesting results. Unless you got that one annoying guy who HAS to draw and paint exactly like someone else. 020
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 20/04/2026But when i say, not impressed, its like something I would never share as a spectacle, because it adds so much stress. I think i'm a lot more sensitive about this all now, because I got caught up in "process as spectacle" and i'm honestly trying to sober from that. 120
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 20/04/2026I dont do illustration/ painting as a thing anymore, and 3D/ Animation is different. I'm "rehabilitating" myself back to illo and painting again after a wild burnout, and I can say that i'm not impressed with the process of art making, just super focused on the finish. 110
Cadmiumcoffee @sishir.com · 20/04/2026its very specific yes! a certain approach and craft gets the viral marks on the algo, but then the appreciation for the rough, very personal, but efficient processes and its diversity isnt presented. Its truly impossible beauty standards but for process!!!😭 110
