iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

If they want to remake it I'm sure they'll find ways to make significant improvements to the games If they want to reboot and try something different I'd be more excited to see that cause DC is just an okay series and they can do better imo

That's so strange cause I was talking about this with a friend yesterday I just don't know what Dino Crisis would look like as a reboot cause every entry is so different Also the first game is pretty mid with some absolutely insane puzzles and I just can't imagine many people have played it

I kinda ended up in podcasts by accident because my degree was specifically in music production/audio engineering and not audio post-production/editing I just create because if I don't I'm really bored and I get really antsy I love working way too much lmao

I wanted to replay the game on NG+ but it didn't ship with it which is such a strange omission for a survival horror game in the big 2026... Replayability with a massive arsenal and upgrades is kinda the reason a lot of people sink hours upon hours into these games 😬

I need some spooky-ooky-ooky games to play this October cause my horror itch hasn't been really scratched :^( Any recommendations that are a bit niche for someone who's been around the block? 🥺✨

Most of the patches go hard against the vision of the game and sand off edges that should've never been touched

I still have issues with some QoL breaking the original vision in some weird as fuck ways but the core is still there and it's just great man

I do like the game a good amount and would recommend it on sale but it's lack of polish in some areas unfortunately shows If these get addressed in a patch later along the line I'd call it a no brainer pick for horror fans

090 9

And there are far too many sections with one hit kill enemies At least give me two chances while I get my bearings after introducing something like that cause I always die immediately cause I have no idea where to run

160 6

Halfway through the game I've been finding that the game teeters a bit too much towards frustrating with how stingy it is with ammo drops If you give me a literal RE4 cabin level you can't have me run out of ammo and melee by the 3rd round of baddies

Please Stop Talking @pstpodcast.com · 09/10/2026

When Hellraiser Revival works it REALLY works. But when it doesn't it edges way too close to being frustrating. Most of the issues I have are with the balance of difficulty and not being sure if the game is aiming for survival horror or action.

If the concept of a musk party was too much for you this is several degrees higher on the extreme kinks ladder

0351 35

I'm impressed by Hellraiser Revival's depiction of BDSM and kink spaces and I just know someone will pick this game up and be horribly uncomfortable by it LMFAO

Fun facts with Billy: There is a pink noise generator playing a very quiet ambiance with room reverb in every episode so that it sounds like everyone is in the same room even though we record from different sources!
